Chapter 24

Abhishek came to pick Ayush soon he left. Sanskar brought a juice glass and handed her, she pouted but took it anyway. "Aaj toh maza aa gaya, bas ek cheez ki kami thi" said Vicky, "kya partner", "tumhara gana bahut time hua tumhara gaana nahi suna" said Vicky, Uttara agree immediately. "Sorry par mera gala theek nahi hai toh mera gana possible nahi hai" said but her eyes stopped on Sanskar and she remembered last night he sang to make her sleep. "Main nahi gaa sakti toh kya hua ek or singer hai naa" said excitedly making them silent, "kaun" asked Vicky, "arrey aap ke dost" said. Sanskar stood up, "I'm not singing" said and tried to walk away, "haan bestie bhai nahi gaate, he left singing" said Uttara, "par kal raat toh aap mast gaa rahe the, ab kyu nahi" said Swara making them surprised. Sanskar turned to her, "tumse kaha naa nahi, chup chap apna juice finish karo" said Sanskar sternly. If anyone else would be in her position then, he/she would agree to him and get quite but she's different, she's Swara.
Swara stood in front of him, looked at him, turned around, saw the sofa near her, stood on the sofa, "Swara kya kar rahi ho gir jaogi" said Sanskar trying to hold her but she pushed his hands. Others stood silently watching them, they know only Swara can make him agree. "Tum sofa pe kyu khadi ho" said Sanskar irritated, "kyunki isse dominance badta hai" said making him raise his eyebrow, "aap itne over lambe hu toh meri gardan dard karegi bar bar aise upar dekhne se, now we are equal" said showing her hand, signing him their height, he wanted to laugh but controlled.
"Haan toh ab aate hai main topic pe, aap ko pata hai acche pati kisko bolte hai, jo apni wife ki har baat mane, aap ko kaise pata hoga, aap apni bimar wife ki ek choti si baat nahi mante, gaana gane hi toh bola hai aap ki kidney thodi mangi hai (Vicky and Uttara chuckled, others were controlling their chuckle, Sanskar turned to glare them, but she turned him to her) aap unn bicharon ko kya ghur rahe ho, main baat kar rahi hu naa, ek toh aapko ghar baithe mere jaisi itni acchi, pyaari biwi mile isliye aap mujhe for granted lete ho (Sanskar gave her a shock look) or nahi toh kya aap pata nahi ladki patana kitna difficult task hota hai bahar jaake dekho pata chalega, aarey  dusron ka chodo maine 33 ladko ko reject kiya" said proudly at the end. He was flabbergasted, "33" said Aman and Vicky together, "ji haan 33, ek toh bhaiya mere ACP hai or Ayu koi ladka mujhe propose karne aata uske peeche hockey leke bhagta tha, itna sab danger ke baad mujhe propose kiya toh main thappad marke bhaga deti thi or aap ko bina mehnat ke milo toh aap meri kadar nahi kar rahe" said sighing.
Sanskar looked at her, then turned his parents were controlling their smile, Vicky and Uttara were laughing silently, Aman was trying hard to stop his laugh. He glared them all and turned to her stared her sternly, held her arms and brought her down. He made her sit on the sofa, took the juice glass and handed her forcely, "finish it" said firmly and left.
Swara looked at his back, she pouted sadly, started sipping the juice uninterested, Sujata came  to her, "Shona beta, tum udaas mat ho" said caressing her hairs, she nodded with a small smile. Others felt bad as they have faced such situations where he would walk away but this is the first time Swara had to go through it.

A sound of playing guitar was heard making them surprised, they looked at eachother and a smile craved on their face.
Swara jumped in happiness stood up,

Haan aa…

They looked up to find Sanskar walking down playing guitar making them smile widely.

Haan hasi ban gaye
Haan nami ban gaye
Tum mere aasmaan
Meri zameen ban gaye

He stood in the centre, singing and playing the guitar, he was observing everyone, they had a wide smile, they felt like a dream
