Temper Tantrum and Values

"What do you mean I have no right to disown Rosetta Potter?! I am Lord Potter!" James screamed in Gringotts 

He had started this in the lobby of of Gringotts. The Weasleys had started to break ties with the Potters except for Molly and Ron. The Weasley men and Ginny were firmly on the side of the Sherwood. Ginny had openly stated that Jamie was nothing but a pig headed bully and refused to accept the betrothal between the two of them. James wanted the disownment of the brat to be public so that when she begged and they took her back into the family that the public would eat it up. Gringotts apparently had other plans. 

"The will of your parents stated that you are not Lord Potter but Regent until Lady Potter comes of age." The Potter accountant said clearly to the growing crowd

"I was an only child. My parents had no other heir." James snarled out 

"Perhaps you should have come to the will reading, Regent Potter, or even brought your son to the testing set up for all possible Potter heir candidates. It was held when they were eight for over a year. Heiress Potter-Sherwood was the only one to show and pass with flying colors. You were an only child is a true statement but your parents were wise beyond many wizard mental functionality. They set up a test for you to give you the benefit of the doubt of which you failed miserably. Potter family has always believed in family before all else. You have failed in your teachings completely. Children are a precious thing, Regent Potter, you threw away yours and now instead of making amends you attempt to humiliate said child to further your own agenda. All you have succeeded in doing is humiliating yourself." The Potter accountant said and nodding towards the crowded bank which overheard everything 

James turned as cherry red as a fire engine found in London before storming out of the bank. Little did James know all of this would appear on front page in the Daily Prophet under Skeeter.

Lily had found that not many of her friends were talking to her anymore. Once everyone had heard that the Potter's had truly given up their daughter they were disgusted. The one thing all three sides, Dark/ Light/ Gray, was that children are precious since it has been harder for the more traditional families to have them. She was used to being called a spectacular mom but now people insult her for choosing to raise Jamie as their most important child. The mutterings around Lily angered her, Lily felt it was the most logical option. Dumbledore had said that Rosetta was a squib and would grow up jealous of her brother. Jamie was the Chosen One, the Boy Who Lived, he shouldn't have to deal with that. It was best to leave Rosetta with her sister away from magic so that her being a squib didn't destroy the family. Lily is mad that no one is taking their sides and the Malfoys are taking advantage of it. Narcissa has said how she would like to talk with Rosetta as an upcoming heiress because she could use some adult women in her life. Lucius fed fire to the Potter family rumor mill. Draco wouldn't let Jamie near Rosetta to make matters better. Jamie was finding it harder and harder to save face. The Slytherins though were having a ball. The Slytherins were being nicer to the muggleborn after an argument that Jamie started. 

Flashback 

"You should be grateful that we are even trying to show you the proper way of things!" Jamie said after cornering Rosetta, Daphne, and Hermione in the hall outside of Charms

"Your proper way of thinking is that you are some how so great that you somehow miraculously defeated You Know Who while you were nothing more than a baby who couldn't even walk yet let alone speak. I am not some fool to be lead about by a noose without questioning the world around me." Rosetta said annoyed

Students were starting to come around them as they were waiting for Professor Flitwick. 

"You don't even have the courage to say his name! Voldemort." Jamie said and smirked while Daphne flinched back away from him
