"Damaged feelings"
My feelings are damaged, hurting me inside,
A sense of purposelessness, my life feels denied.
Lost in my thoughts, I can't seem to find,
The strength to revive the feelings left behind.
I wait patiently, hoping for a sign,
That my pain will ease and my spirit will shine.
But instead, my regrets seem to resurrect,
And my fears continue to cause me unrest.
I hate feeling this way, I long to find my path,
To tuck away my negatives and find joy that lasts.
I pray for strength and guidance to light my way,
And for a renewed sense of hope to come and stay.
Though the road ahead may be long and steep,
I know that I can find the courage to defeat,
The doubts and fears that hold me back,
And to find the strength to get back on track.
