"Embrace"

Through hardships I have endured,
From anxiety's grip that held me secured,
To pain's icy fingers, leaving wounds unhealed,
And heartbreak's echoes, my soul revealed.

But now, I yearn to shed the weight of strife,
To embark on a path that breathes new life,
With prayers as my guide, I'll complete the race,
No more pain to bind me, only beauty's embrace.

I crave the embrace of cherished memories,
Replacing old ones that dent and tease,
No longer provoking, no longer dark clouds,
But love's gentle touch that dissolves all shrouds.

In this journey, tears become my release,
Not blood that frightens, nor scars that increase,
I yearn for love's ear, to listen and understand,
As I tread this new path, guided by faith's hand.

Serenity awaits, with its embrace so warm,
A tapestry woven, free from hardship's storm,
In its touch, I find solace and grace,
Enveloped by its warmth, a tender embrace.
