"Lost in the moment"
I miss the days when I smiled without a care
And didn't let small things drag me down in despair
When I didn't try to carry the weight on my own
And embraced love instead of feeling alone
Now bad memories keep me up at night
And the knot in my stomach never feels quite right
When did I lose my faith and fall apart?
And let negativity take over my heart
But I long for the times I got lost in the moment
And didn't dwell on past mistakes or regretful components
When life was simple and love was pure
And I didn't feel so lost or unsure.
