In shadows deep, a boy's heart did break,
His parents' absence, a void he couldn't shake.
On his tenth birthday, joy turned to woe,
Love's flame extinguished, leaving him low.
But amidst the darkness, a glimmer of light,
A friend's gentle touch, a star in the night.
Through tear-stained eyes, a flicker of hope,
Whispering softly, helping him cope.
Each day he rose, carried by their care,
A tender embrace, lifting him from despair.
Though pain still lingered, etched deep within,
Love's gentle currents helped his heart begin.
So he journeyed forth, a path undefined,
Guided by memories, treasures he'd find.
Though his parents' presence couldn't be replaced,
Love's strength emerged, bringing solace and grace.
In time, he learned to live, to thrive, to heal,
To honor the love that his heart could still feel.
For life's resilience, a testament to behold,
A story of love, a tale that unfolds.
