"Bound in Solitude"
Bound, hands tied, yet words I impart,
Walking the tightrope of a delicate heart.
Within shadows, our hidden sides reside,
Embarrassed, my flaws I cannot hide.Rainfall from skies, dark and gray,
Illusions shattered, truth finds its way.
In God's eyes, how do I appear,
Amidst doubts and uncertainties, I fear.Lost, goodness fades, like an ember's light,
What awaits when this journey takes flight?
Shall shame haunt my past and linger on,
Or can pain transform into a distant song?Numbness or love, which path shall I choose,
Dreams of freedom, where hope's hues infuse.
Release the poison within my veins,
Or let it settle, embracing life's remains. In solitude's embrace, I find solace anew,
Unveiling imperfections, seeking what is true.
For in this journey, let me walk alone,
Let me be, let me find my own unknown.-soulpoet-
