There comes a time in a woman's life when she has to take matters into her own hands, even if it means leaving her newlywed husband to embark on a reckless journey to save her homeland.

Well, maybe that's not common, but how could anyone blame you? When the news came to you that a criminal organization was terrorizing your region you knew you had to do something. Being as hot-headed and impulsive as your loved husband was, you simply packed up your things and "borrowed" some of Smoker's subordinates to help you reach and defeat those criminals.

Now that's when the problems arose. You see, you were so angry at those people and so caught up in the moment that you forgot to tell your husband what was happening and you simply left with no exact explanation for why or where you were going.

As much as Smoker wanted to drop everything and secretly follow you, he had a very important job ad couldn't just abandon it all, so for the sake of his future he decided he would be a good husband and wait for your return, positive that you would do your best to come back to him as soon as he could.

The two of you thought of each other every morning when you woke up and each night as you went to sleep, days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and months turned into years, six years, two months, and 3 days to be exact.

So when he saw a beautiful woman that resembled his beloved wife he almost lost it.

He didn't want to look like a creep so he decided to stay calm and be cool about it, not wanting to jump to conclusions and risk being hurt the umpteenth time.

She didn't seem to notice him at first, too busy talking to one of the marines that had helped her by being her best friend and a good listener, just like right now.

"What if he doesn't want to talk to me again? I know all lines of communication were cut by those guys, but it just seems like a lazy and lame excuse. Even I don't know if I would believe it...
