Here's a question, should this chappy get its own spin off series?

There was awareness.

There always was.

Like the fact they were trapped, and male.

They could not move.

They could not see.

He could not scream.

Memories had dimmed, but he knew there had been a before this.

"Now.. this isn't good," a soft voice filled with worry said.

They could hear?

They would have gasped in shock as he.. could feel something touching him.

"Sorry about this... but this place is about to end," the voice said.

End... what did they mean end?

Everything trembled, the earth screamed.

Then there was nothing.

------

Traveller.. was starting to wonder if he was a magnet for children.

For he's come across a collapsing multiverse with a lone survivor, a Dream still trapped within stone.

A child.. a babybones... who in most places should have been in stripes.

For some reason, he had a feeling Karma would get along with the sleeping child.

What a strange thought.

He had taken them to a near multiverse, with no balance but very positive.

The stoned Dream had cracked within moments, and even unconscious had curled against the elder child seeking warmth and comfort.

There breath was a pattern against his neck, there face showed traces of tears long dried.. likely from before becoming a statue.

A whimper escaped the child, mouth forming names yet no sounds came out.

(Something horrible happened there) Palette said quietly.

((There mind needs rest, I don't think they truly rested while sealed)) Goth responded.

(Ohh... lets sing him deeper asleep!) Palette chirped.

"What song," Traveller hummed, then remembered one of the movies he and Karma had watched. Wizard of Oz, his baby brother had liked the song.

"Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh, why can't I?

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh, why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?"

The Dream stilled, restless energy bleeding off.

------
He woke.

Warm... he was warm...

And for the first time in a very long time he opened his blurry eyes.
