You and Ryusei stood around for a while, well Ryusei was too busy engaging in a rather violent conversation with Igaguri, but other than that, all was well.
That was until a random group of three walked up to you, ignoring the fight that was happening at the back.
"Yo, it's M/n, right?" The guy in the middle asked, a lazy smirk present on his face.
You tilted your head to the side before nodding slowly, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
"Yup. How'd you know?" You responded back, half sarcastically.
"My sister has like 47 pictures of your face on her wall and whenever she's in shock she says 'Oh great lord M/n!'" He replied, staring at you indifferently though his face held a look of disgust while you gazed at him blankly, unamused.
"Thought it wasn't that big of a deal, but know I see why she's all over you."
"Bro! Get to the point already and stop flirting you pathetic loser!" One of the other guys hit him in the back.
You looked at the group, judgement written all over your face.
"Hurry up, we're losing him!"
"Okay, okay, just stop hitting me!"
"Whatever."
"Well, I'm sure y'know what we're here for, but if not then d'ya wanna play some soccer?" The main guy asked, smirk back on his face while he crained his neck to the side.
Looking behind you, you shrugged.
"Oi, Ryusei and bald dude, we've got a match to play."

The match went.. unexpected.
The three guys were actually way better than you initially thought, and their movements changed every second so it was quite hard to read them, but soon you got the hang of things
That was before Ryusei got red carded and at that point in the game it was 2-3, so the other team 'automatically' got the win, which was bullshit but whatever.
And Igaguri only added fuel to the fire. His only talent being sneakily giving the other teams fouls, which wasn't particularly useful for this match.
"Dammit. Now we're gonna have to play an extra round.." You whined with an annoyed look on your face, directed to Ryusei who only rolled his eyes in response, not caring one bit.
Igaguri was sitting on the floor, breathes jagged and his face red, sniffling his nose.
"I-i'm definitely not getting picked.." He muttered, eyes wide and a scared look taking over his features.
"Well, obviously. Ya suck." You blatantly replied while standing next to Ryusei, but that was before the other team walked over, nothing but cocky smirks on their faces.
"Hah! Looks like the great Ryu-M/n duo's not so great anymore, huh?"
"Yes, yes! Now boss, boss let's pick M/n and get outta here!" One of the guys' minions cheered, already getting ready to walk out.
The three of you looked at the trio expectantly, waiting for them to just hurry up and pick.
"Alright.. Well, Igaguri! Get up cuz I pick you!"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Oh?" You widened your eyes though a brief look of amusement crossed your face. You were extremely glad you didn't have to play with them.
"BOSS, WHAT THE FUCK?!"
"Boys, boys, calm down. I just know this ordinary looking man is hiding insane power that will benefit us in the near future! Power that Mr. pretty boy nor Mr. red card demon will ever have! That's why I choose him."
You slowly turned to ryusei, and he seemed to do the same thing.
"What the fuck." he muttered, eyes wide though mouth tilted into a grin, glad that the dead weight of the team was finally going to leave.
"HAH! I'm glad people finally realise my power!" Igaguri chanted with a fist raised in the air, a proud and cocky smirk present on his face as he turned to face you and Ryusei, but before he could say anything, the two of you were already walking down to the 'losers' isle with blank, uncaring faces.
"Oh, come on! At least show some respect!"

soz for the late chapter im very tired rn, i will take maybe 4 more days for the next one but i will try very hard to make it super super long,, also ik that making the team choose m/n would've made more sense for the og blue lock plot but i wanna be able to add him into the main story playing with main characters and kinda sticking with ryusei until other people get introduced instead of random sides so yeah lol. also if i cant make a super long chapter then i'll just continue posting shorter chapters everyday!! and tysm for reading and we're nearly at 4k like omg???
