(Knockouts POV) Today marks the third month that Starscream has been staying with us at the Autobot base. He's still in his cell but the Autobots are warming up to him thanks to Breakdown and I as well as my sparklings. They've seen how he interacts with Wildbreak and Piston, and Bumblebee has even given him a nickname which I thought was pretty cute. Apparently it's an Earth thing that humans say, and what makes it even cuter is that instead of him refusing the name, he's accepted it. Breakdown and I visit him whenever we have the chance and we always bring Wildbreak and Piston with us. We were actually on our way to see him now. I was holding Wildbreak and Piston in my arms as Breakdown put in the code to Starscreams cell. As soon as we opened the door Starscream sat up with a big smile.
"There they are!" He grinned walking over to us. The Autobots decided to remove his cuffs due to his good behavior and obedience recently. "Come to Uncle Starscream!" He beamed with joy as I gently handed him my sparklings. They laughed as he sat back down. "You really need to visit more." He said lifting Wildbreak up closer to his helm while making funny faces. Wildbreak giggled and reached out and grabbed his long red antenna. "Or they'll start to miss me too much." He chuckled as Piston giggled in his lap. I smiled as I watched him play with my sparklings.
"I like this new you Star." Breakdown said kneeling and picking up Piston. Starscream looked at Breakdown and slightly smiled before looking away.
"Well I wasn't always a jerk you know." He said quietly. "War can change people, especially when you've been through the stuff I have." He huffed standing up. He walked over to me with Wildbreak in his arms. He looked at me with a smile before gently handing him to me.
"I know..." I shifted my arms so I could rest my servo on his shoulder while cradling Wildbreak in my other arm. He smiled slightly at the gesture. Then we heard what sounded like an explosion in the main room.
