"Thami please give me 5 minutes I need to take more stuff"

I say closing the door rushing upstairs to take my toiletry bag, a blanket and my side bag.

"Gogo, I am doing this because I understand your pain. I haven't been paying attention at this powerful gift you gave me and now it's time sengiyaphuma sengibheke kwakho eMzinyathi, hamba nami. As I leave Lord look out for me from anything that might disturb me from achieving the goal of serving your people ".

I make my way downstairs and the guard offers to help me with the bags as we make our way to the car

"which car are we using" I ask

"G class" he says making a hand gesture to other guards to open the gate

"oh" I say entering the garage

The car takes M25 and the isolation kicks in, I get time to look back to when I first heard the whistles and how I thought I am losing my mind only to find out I hold so much power in and the sooner I understand how important that is , the sooner things will be fixed.

"ukahle?" Thami asks

I snap out of it "yes I'm good"

"anything to drink or eat?" Thami

"no thank you, it's only 3:00"I say chuckling

"just making sure hey" Thami

"thank you" I say looking away with a smile

Thami is actually one of the drivers that I prefer when we are travelling long distances because he is just cool and understands the kind of person I am or maybe it is because of the age difference. Other drivers are either too uptight or too friendly for no reason. Thami understands that there are limits but also keeps it cool

I take my phone and I take few pictures of this place and before I knew it the car was standing infront of the big gate. I look at the time 4:03

"sesifikile" Thami

People were already outside busy with only God knows what. My granny make her way to the gate with a lady who looks like she's a sangoma. Thami opens the door for me.

"you really don't have to hey" I say chuckling

"Where is Khethamahle, wahamba wedwa?" she asks

"He doesn't know I am here but I will call him and tell him don't worry" Me

"Do you know that since you are a Khoza now, your husband has to know everything you are doing. He must approve or disapprove you can't take decisions on your own. H e is supposed to be here to support you" Her

"I will call him gogo" Me

"Kuhleke, this is Gog' Ndlela, uyisangoma sala kwa Manzini" we exchange greetings and we speak about nothing if I were to be honest with you guys.

I didn't want to include anyone from the Khoza family in this. This ceremony will only take a week I honestly don't think it is necessary for him to be here. My granny tells me that we have to go to a river first so I can be cleanse and she insist that I call Khethamahle to come as soon as possible.

I take my shoes off and we start walking to the river. Boy ! it was far...if I knew I was going to ask Thami to take us because I definitely did not sign for that walk.

"You have to get inside the river and pray, you are committing yourself to this now. You have a calling and now it is time you ask your ancestors and the Khoza's to keep you safe and pave a way for you. Nothing is going to be easy, you will need to adjust to it and make it work for you. We are here as your family and Nomkhitha will be next you every step of the way."
