Summary: Jumping behind a car, Kate tries to calm her racing heart as she reaches for another arrow. Pulling it from her quiver, she nocks it just in time to shoot it at the creature that has followed her to her impromptu hiding place.
"Fuck," Kate mutters, shooting the thing straight in the face and watching with some disgust as its grey head explodes into a million tiny pieces. "What are you even doing here! Iron Man fucking disintegrated your bastard asses..." Scrambling to her feet, she stares at the sky and the giant flying Leviathan that sways through the air above her.
"You know," a voice says in her earpiece, briefly distracting her from her fear and annoyance. "It is unbecoming of a superhero to say such nasty words."
