Day 43: Nobody

0 1 0

I'm tired of being myself,
Tired of questioning myself,
Over and over, again and again,
Who really am I?

Following orders from society,
To act like what others want,
To be what others want,
To build myself as a person.

To whom they will love,
To whom they will accept,
To whom they will understand,
I can't break those expectations.

How many times I scream for help,
Yet no one came,
They didn't see the pain,
All the expectations.

I just can't break any of it,
Because I'm just nobody,
A fool to follow them,
Like a dog obedient to its master.

Yet inside me,
I want to break free,
Burning the fire, just lighting up,
But society brings me to a realization.

I'm just nobody.
