One Step At A Time

It's time for me to head back to work. I should have been getting stuff together for my own business but all I did was rest. I really needed the rest, hate that it took a car accident to sit me down but I'm back. I'm sure if it was up to Zac he would want me to stay home longer. But I promised him that I would pay attention to the signs and do better especially since I am growing a whole human inside of me.

Fatima: Babe wake up I am about to head to work

Zac: No why you leaving me, you were already sleep when I got home last night.

Fatima: I have to go back to work but how did that go, did you handle it?

Zac: No I let him get a pass he said sorry

Fatima: Zac I know the hell you didn't, I don't care if he got on his knees and begged he needed his ass beat. That's okay I will handle it since you clearly can't complete the task..

Picking up her phone to call someone

Zac: Who you calling?

Fatima: Someone I know who will get it done

Zac: Put the phone down dang, you think I would let him get off that easy. I beat his ass left him knocked out on the floor.

Fatima: Why you play so much you know I was about to put in a call

Zac: You have little faith in ya man

Fatima I mean you do be following behind them going on dummy missions

Zac: Hey that was one time and that don't count

Fatima: Well glad you handled that situation but on another topic I scheduled an appointment with my doctor so I can get everything set up to make sure me and baby are in good health.

Zac: You already know I'm there I want to see everything . Come here so I can talk to my baby since you're leaving me.

Fatima: You act like I'm leaving forever I'm just going to work I'll be back.

Zac: I'm just giving you a hard time, I'm sure Andi misses you. Please let me know when you make it to work. And call me before you leave work.

Fatima: Okay babe I will try not to sit here and worry I will be fine.

Zac: I can't help but worry after what happened and now that you're pregnant I'm probably going to always worry. You're all I got left

Fatima: Don't worry we got each other. I'll call you when I make it to work love you.

The Office

It felt good to be back at work. I couldn't even sit down good before Andi came running in my office.

Andi: Welcome back I missed you.

Fatima: Thank you I missed you too

Andi: Here these are for you handing Fatima some balloons and flowers

Fatima: Thank you I really appreciate it

Andi: I would have stopped by to visit you but Zac said you needed your rest.

Fatima: You should have called me girl

Andi: No girl he said of I came over he was gone leave me outside knocking

Both laughing

Fatima: I'm going to get him he ain't got no manners

Andi: It's okay you probably needed the rest

Fatima: I did

Andi: I ain't have no one to talk too since you been gone, I been going through it
