i was currently working on a wig installation , this was my 3rd head of the day .

i had 1 more i been on the phone with kado .. i really been on the phone with him all week the last time i seen him was Wednesday .

" ouu chile im hungry ." i spoke out loud

" girlaa me too ." my client nina spoke .

" you want me to bring some food ?" kado spoke through my airpod

" no im okay ." i said i didn't want him to be doing things like that for me .

i could call ray if i needed something .

" im bring some food r'monei ." he said making me rolling my eyes .

" you don't listen ." i said

" i don't have to listen to you , you have to listen to me ." he said making me laugh .

when i first met this dude i thought he was the meanest nigga alive .

he really a sweetheart at heart .

" whatchu want from canes ?" he asked

" um chicken tenders n fries " i said in a duh tone

" ight ,  you want me to stay otp or what ?" he asked knowing the answer to that .

ian say nun , " ima take that ass a yes" he said

i was finishing up nina's head , i had just laid her edges down and now i was going in with the hot comb .

" you still coming in sunday ?" nina asked referring to my nail appt .

" yesss ma'am " i confirmed with her i knew i had to get peaches so i would have to go get my nails down earlier .

my father and toya was going out of town so i knew p would be busy n that would mean he'd have kado up there with him .

taking off the wig band i let the chair down letting nina know she was done , we was doing service for service so she ain't owe me nun .

i walked her to the door , where we did our goodbyes

" i'll see you tmr boo ." she said blowing me a kiss i blew one back .

i then texted my 11:15 appt to confirm with her .

just then i got buzzed , i knew it was kado so i sent em on up .

as i tidied up from nina i felt kado's presence behind me .

" don't be sneaking up on me like that ." i said tapping my airpod to hang up

" i do what i want " he said thinking my forehead

" owweeee " i whined as he gave me my food .

i walked to the living room , " bring my phone kado ." i yelled

" somebody texted you n said they can't make it today ." he said

" i said bring it not go thru it nosey ." i said

" girl shut up ." he said

" he had a bootle of sprite and he ain't get me no drink so i picked his bootle up taking a sip .

" dude wtf" he said giving me a stale face .

" i was thirsty " i said shrugging

replying to my canceled appt ionk i was happy or mad abt it .

" that's more free time but money lost " i spoke out loud

" girl what is you talking abt ." kado spoke .

just as i was abt to speak ray'len ft me .

" omg cousin i need you to do my hair , kind of today ." she said looking a mess in her car

" really ray'len ?" i asked

i mean it wasn't no problem bc ian have no more clients today but she ain't know that

" please cousinsnn ?" she whined

" ight , hurry over here tho ." i said not even asking what she wanted .

" im kinda already here ." she said smiling

" girl bye " i hung up

" damn i can't never have you to myself " kado said pouting .

" oh please , youn never want me to yourself ." i said pushing his forehead

i got up straddling onto his lap .

i pecked his lips surprising him ig

he grabbed my throat pulling into a deep kiss allowing his tongue to find its way down my throat .

a knock came to my door and then it opened making me pull away from the kiss .

" OOPP , don't let me stop y'all ." ray'len said walking out closing the door then opening it again .

i got up off kado , " ray you sooo extra ." i said

" when tf y'all start that ?" she said pointing to both of us .

" ain't no that " i said in denial to be real me and kado had our first kiss wednesday that's part of the reason ian seen him since .  

i've knew him for almost a week now , i knew it was kinda fast moving but it was just a kiss right ?

" ima slide to chill w p nem ight ?" kado said coming behind me hugging me

" mkay be safe ." i replied .

" tell zy don't be doing no ho shit either ." ray yelled out as kado walked out the door .

" girlllaaa when tffff ?" ray asked

" what happened to " ion do hood niggas blah blah blah blahhhh" she said mocking me

i ignored her bc truly idk , i had genuinely tripped for kado .

" how you want yo hair , ray'len ?" i said rolling my eyes  

" okay soo im thinking half up half down , but ion csss zy rough in the bed n it's just me n him on this vacation . " she said

" when i come back you might be a auntie/cousin " she said making me laugh

" i can secure these lil tracks mkayyy ?" i said as i started parting her head

" you not slick , what's the deal with you and kado ?" she asked

" girlaaaa nothing , that's literally my friend ." i said not really knowing what me and him were .
