" whew baby i'm tired ." r'monei said as she locked the doors to her shop .

it was only 7:30 but boy was she tired and to think that any other day she closed at 9 .

she closed early on Mondays so she could plan her weeks .

she had been taking these 6 months to get herself together .

she had been working soo hard these past couples of months , for herself she didn't want to slip into depression which was creeping on her .

she used her job to distract herself she still thought of kado all the time but in her eyes he was doing fine without her so she had to do the same , grinding was all she knew .

she opened her shop a while ago and business was booming for her , she was in her prime .

once she got in the car and got on the road she called dymond her new bestie .

dymond did so much for monei and monei did alot for dymond they both needed the friendship dearly .

" hello " dymond spoke through the speakers of monei's car

" hey love bug , wyd ?" monei spoke softly

" folding some of mar's clothes hunni , im so tired i been cleaning all day " dymond said

monei had went in and helped her friend buy her friends first house .

now monei didn't even have a house but she was happy in her penthouse

she knew that lil mar and dymond would never get mar back so she did them a favor

she wanted the best for both of them , she felt so bad that lil mar would never have his father in his life it was so unfair .

" nothing much , i took him by my moms so he could see some of his family and so i could pack some stuff , i get the key to the house friday so im really excited." she said

" im excited for you pooh , where my baby at ?" monei asked as she pulled into popeyes

" hey baby " monei said smiling , she loved mar she was honestly ready to have a little one of her own .

" hey tt " he said raspy he was just getting in the habit of talking

" you come my house ?" he said tripping over some of his words

monei laughed before replying , " no baby not tonight but i miss you ." she said

" chile he done ran off somewhere , that was not what he wanted to hear hunni " dymond said laughing

" i'm so tired i can't even come see my baby i been working none stop this weekend i'll see my baby tomorrow im off " monei said

" ik you are tired but all yo hard work is paying off monei you don came a long way foreal ." dymond said genuinely proud of herself . x

monei ordered her food went home ate , took a shower and now she was on her couching working on her books and sipping wine watching home alone .

her phone laid beside her , it went off from time to time and just as she was about to reach for it to check her notifications nothing special a notification she'd never thought she'd get popped up across her screen .

all the getting over and healing she had done from this boy she genuinely had told herself she didn't want anything to do with someone who had brought her so much pain .

it wasn't that she didn't love him , it was that he knew he was hurting her by staying away and instead of facing his problems together he ran and made bigger problems

now r'monei knew that people didn't like to put their problems on other but she felt like if you genuinely love someone they should be able to help you with whatever you are going through and r'monei was willing to help kado and she thought he failed to realize that .

truth be told kado had never had no one really love him so he didn't know how to take it .

on the story it was a picture of a plan with a little location sticker that read " on the go " , where was he going monei thought when was he going .

she didn't think to much of it she just followed him back and put her phone down , she was spooked was he coming back to texas ?
