Chapter 23: Sleepover Pushover

Everyone looks at you and applauds. You look at them, realizing they were doing so. You were in a deep state of thought. Yet you look at your friends and smile, you bow down to them and say, "Thank you very much! That was how everything was today, in an alternate timeline, from my point of view!" You were happy with how things turned out. You saw Ford's face as he smiled wholeheartedly at you. You smiled back and gave him a thumbs up.

Your eyes were completely shut, you couldn't open them. Yet you were awake. You woke up because there was an uncomfortable pain digging into your stomach. You slowly open your eyes. At first, you couldn't make out what was above you because your vision was blurry. But then you saw what it was, "OW, GET OFF ME!" And you forced the brown goat off of you. You notice that he was wearing a red knitted sweater. He jumps back and bleats, still on your bed. The goat followed your movements with his rectangular pupils as he appeared to be chewing something in his mouth.

You hear someone running upstairs in a hurry, "ARE YOU OKAY, Y/N? Oh... That's Gompers." It was Mabel. Along with Ford. Ford sighs with relief as he saw the scene in front of him, "Phew, I'm glad you're okay... " You look at the goat presumably named Gompers. "Is this normal?" You say in an obviously panicked voice. "Ehh..." Ford comments, making the signal with his hand, "Yes, and no." You push Gompers to the side, and say with great annoyance, "WHY IS THIS GOAT WEARING A SWEATER?" Mabel comes up to the goat and says, "Because I made him one! Doesn't he look so comfy in it?" You sigh and roll your eyes as you get up from your bed, "Why would you make a sweater for a goat?" And you decided to pet Gompers on his head to relieve your anger. He closed his eyes, lowered his head, and looked comfortable as you pet him. You sigh with agreeance, "I guess he does look comfy in it..." Mabel smiles, and Ford comes up to you and Mabel, "I guess we got off on the wrong foot this morning." You shrug, "I'm still mad at the goat..." Mabel grinned sincerely, "Well, you met Gompers... Meet Waddles!" And with a bit of a struggle held up a fat pig. You had a confused expression as Mabel gave him to you. He snorted and you scratched his head. "A goat and a pig, huh?" "Well, Waddles is Mabel's pet, and Gompers is just some goat that lives around here. Also, they're apparently married?" Ford clarified with some confusion at the end. You sigh as Gompers lays beside you and you keep petting Waddles.

Suddenly you heard a strange ringtone. It wasn't your phone though. It was Mabel's. "Hello?" She went over to her bed and picked up the phone. "Hello!-Hi!" Two voices were coming from the phone. You realized them, Candy and Grenda. "Mind if you come to our sleepover for the night?" Candy asked. Mabel gasped and shouted, "YES! OF COURSE, I WILL!" Mabel turned to you and then her smile became even wider, "CAN I BRING ANOTHER FRIEND!?" You roll your eyes and sigh, "Really?" You hear the door screech and look who it is. It was none other than the pixelated girl of Giffany. Candy and Grenda shout in excitement, "YEAH! SURE!" Mabel turns to Giffany and Giffany asks, "Who are you talking to?" Mabel yells out, "Giffany! Have you ever been to a sleepover!?" Giffany questions herself, and then comments, "No, I have not." Mabel then says, "Mind if I bring ANOTHER FRIEND! OH! AND SHE ALSO LIKES BOYS!" You hear fangirl noises coming from the phone and Mabel gives a silent thumbs-up to you and Giffany. Ford groans and walks out the door, "I need to get myself a second coffee..."

You sat in a chair that was placed in Soos' break room. Dipper was sitting across from you. And Soos was out at the arcade with Melody. You take a sip of the hot chocolate that Dipper made you. You complain, "Ugh!.. I would rather just binge-watch Inside Job and work for the Illuminati." Dipper sighs as he drinks his hot chocolate with blue ink stains on his shirt, "Yeah, I once got body-swapped with Mabel and her friends tortured me into reading spicy fiction with them." You hear ringing in your left ear and you hear Bill say to you, "And kid... You already work for the Illuminati, ME!" You mumble to yourself and comment to Bill, "Oh yeah..." You are the Illuminati. Dipper also commented, "And also let me let you in on a little secret... The Illuminati exists." You roll your eyes, "Of course, there's always some kind of secret organization, cult, or whatever that exists." Dipper demonstrated, "Last summer my friends and I revealed a whole secret society called the Society of the Blind Eye. Where they would erase people's minds to forget whatever weirdness they see in Gravity Falls. It no longer exists because of my friends and I." You say, "Hold on. I bet by the end of the Summer we will find some sort of cult." You then open your eyes and look up to see Dipper writing it all down in his journal with the pine tree symbol on it. "Mhm, uhuh, and... It's all written down!" You look at Dipper, "Are you serious?" "Sorry, but I noticed that whatever you say comes true. I'm writing this down just in case. Go on..." You sigh and take a sip of hot chocolate, "Girls' night isn't my night." Dipper says, "Yeah, playing board games about dating..." You sigh and Soos comes in, "Hey dudes, what are you two dudes talking about?" Dipper says, "Y/N is going to a sleepover with Mabel and Mabel's friends, but she doesn't want to." Soos' face becomes a bit more serious and empathetic. He sits beside you and says, "Dude, you can't allow yourself to be some pushover. You have to be yourself, dude. Tell Mabel that you don't want to come." You sigh, "But I can't! I'm afraid that Mabel will be sad if I tell her I don't want to come."
