Standing before the living room, I spoke to Aqua and Darkness who were occupied having
breakfast, and ignored Megumin's protests
I saw Aqua stuff an absurdly large piece of bread in her mouth:
"Hmm? Is that why Khazuma left with YunhYun this mohrning??"
Huh?
"What do you mean? Stop spewing food!"
Megumin who had been grappling against my arm nonstop also stopped to listen
Aqua picked up a napkin and carefully wiped the corners of her mouth
"What does Y/N want me to say? Kazuma left alongside YunYun- I saw them leave since I overslept on the couch-"
"And you didn't do anything to stop them!?"
Surprised by my voice tone, Aqua shrugged her shoulders almost as if saying 'Was I supposed to?'
I sighed and sat on the couch, picking up Chomusuke to calm myself
The small furball stared back at me
"If that's the case, we are probably too late to catch up with them."
As I was considering what to do next, Megumin sat beside me letting Chomusuke sniff her hair from my arms
She leaned closer to me, letting our shoulders be mere centimeters apart
-What is she doing now?
With our backs turned to the dining table, Megumin whispered softly beside me:
"Hey Y/N... I have a suggestion, but it will require your help."
