Ch.48

Y/n POV:

I stretch out my legs, turning over, seeing nothing but blonde locks
I smile, moving the hair out of Scarlett's face

"Goodmorning sleepyhead."
"Good morningg"

I sit up, getting out of bed

I'll pick out my outfit soon
I'm going to wake rose, surprise her, I hope.

I exit the room, looking back to see Scarlett now getting up herself
I make my way to rose's room, opening it slowly

I walk over to her bed
She looks adorable, her hands holding onto the covers for dear life making me giggle to myself slightly

I tap her lightly, and watch as her eyes slowly open
"Y/n/n?" She says, leaning up
"Y/n/n!" Her eyes light up as realization hits her

She jumps up, hugging me
I laugh, holding onto her
I carry her downstairs and see Scarlett now in the kitchen making breakfast for both of us

I set rose on a seat and make my way to help
"Let me help"
"No" she states

No?

"You go sit, I'll make it today." She says, turning around to kiss me, then realising that rose was sat there.
I smile at her, watching her go back to making food

"Y/nnnn" rose says, dragging my name on
I nod, waiting for her to continue
"Can you live here with us" she says, looking up at me, a sort of hope in her eyes

I was speechless, I didn't know what to say
Frozen almost.
I looked over to Scarlett who was watching us now

"Maybe one day." I reply, seeing rose now smiling at the thought.

I hope so.
Waking up to Scarlett everyday, now that's dreamlike
That's heavenly.
I want that.

"Breakfast is served" Scarlett said, passing us our breakfast
I begin eating once I've thanked her, rose already tucking in to hers

I began eating, seeing Scarlett still hadn't ate and had sat down
"Aren't you eating?" I asked
"I'm not very hungry." She said, looking down

"Are you okay?" I asked, getting out of my seat to walk over.
"Can we talk later?" She asked

I could see it wasn't anything she was mad over, which I'm glad about
I could see a sense of guilt in her eyes, which worried me.
I nodded, and took my seat

I heard the TV playing no other than rose's favourite movie, I turned to see her watching it on the couch
"Actually can we talk now?"
I nodded, standing up

"Rose me and y/n are just going to talk for a minute, just carry on watching that okay?" Scarlett said, kissing rose's head

I followed her to her mini office, closing the door
"What's up?" I asked, sitting down, Scarlett doing the same

She sighed before starting to speak
"Are you like mad at me for all of this?" She said

Mad?

"All of what?"
"Me and Colin, me and you.
Me and Colin are still technically together, while I'm this close with you.
I feel guilty, like I'm hurting you, like I'm hurting your feelings. And I never want to do that.
If you are mad at it I completely understand, I get it."

I stared at her, my mouth hanging open for what seemed like forever.
"Scarlett I'm not mad, I understand. It takes a long time to get a divorce, and you aren't too sure if you want to,  it's alright, as long as I still have you and rose, and I don't lose you both. I'm okay, we are okay." I spoke, taking her hand in mine

"Thank you y/n, I'm just confused, it's all over the place, I want the divorce, but it could ruin me and my career, it could hurt rose too and I don't want to hurt her, ever. But I don't want to hurt you."
I watched as tears began to prick her eyes.

"Baby, it's alright.
I'm not mad, I'm not upset, I'm actually shocked that you even wanted me to be honest"
I had to add a little joke in there
"I get that, you take your time, I just want you, and want to be with you, I don't want to lose you or rose, or hurt you both, so it's okay" I squeezed her hand lightly

She leaned in, hugging my tightly, nodding
"If I ever hurt you, please tell me." She said to which I nodded, closing my eyes to embrace the hug.

"Thank you for being so understanding."
I nodded, letting her bathe in the silence for a minute before standing up
I grabbed her hand, walking out of her office and into the living room
Once then having to let go of her hand

We both sat down with rose before her front door opened.
Colin came walking into the room and I saw an unpleasant look on Scarletts face.

"Scarlett- wait what is she doing here?" He said, pointing over to me.
"She's taking care of me and rose." She lied

"I want to speak to you."  He said, Scarlett then standing up.
"Rose go upstairs please."
"What about her." He said, making my internally role my eyes, I've got a name.

"She's staying"

"Okay, well I've heard rumours you are going to get a divorce." He said, crossing his arms.
"You can't" he spoke again

"Why not?"
"Because you love me, we have a kid!" He said, his eyes widening
"You cheated on Me, not so sure that's how this relationship is going to work, you can't cheat on me, and then expect it to all be okay."

His mouth hung open

Someone has never felt rejection before.

"So you are getting a divorce? That's a bit drama-" before he could even finish his sentence, Scarlett interrupted.

"It's not dramatic Colin, get a grip. You cheated and now you are facing the consequences. So get out"

She pointed towards the door , ignoring any of his next statements
He soon left after trying to convince her otherwise, which she didn't listen to.

"Rose! You can come back now" she said, shouting rose

"You did amazing, well done babe" I reassured her, watching as she took a seat next to me, her hand traveling to my thigh.

I could get used to this
Sat here watching movies with her and rose
It's so peaceful and quiet, but it's comfortable, I love it.
I want this, nothing more, nothing less.
