Meredith and Addison walked downstairs to mollie sitting on the couch watching telly.

"Hey mol, good sleep" Meredith asked

"Uh yeh" the bags under her eyes were a sign that the girl hadn't slept in a while, deep purple bruise like bags lay under the girls empty eyes.

"Mollie are you doing okay" Addison asked as she and Meredith positioned themselves at either side of her

"Mhm" mollie just turned away from the two women

"Mol"

"Please leave me alone" the dam had finally broken and mollie was in bits

"Mollie what's going on"

"I- I can't sleep, I can't think, I feel so numb and and I feel bad for pushing you two away" she sobbed into her hands and Addison just pulled the girl to her chest

She gripped the front of Addies top, crying and shaking as she let every emotion out

"Let it out mol it's okay" Meredith put mollies hair into a ponytail to keep her hair off her face and rubbed her back.

After a few minutes the two women thought they had finally got through to mollie but it seems she immediately pulled herself together and walked into her bedroom, letting the two know it was all a mistake and that she was completely fine.

They all knew it was bullshit though

-

Once again it was bedtime and mollie had gone off to bed so had Addison and Meredith.

At around 5am there was movement coming from mollies room

"Addie ill go check what's going on, if I need you I'll shout you okay?"

"Okay Mer" the redhead pecked her wife on the lips before she went into mollies room

-

Meredith found mollie curled into a little ball shaking backwards and forwards, mumbling to herself

"Mol babe are you okay?" Meredith tentatively walked towards the shaking ball

"GO AWAY PLEASE DONT HURT ME" she cried and threw a pillow at Meredith

"Mollie it's me Meredith, mumma, your safe"

Realisation dawned on mollies face when she looked up at the blonde

"Oh.. I'm sorry I'm okay, you can go back to bed" the girl tried to draw the attention off herself by once again trying to mask her feelings

"Mollie you and I both know that your not okay, can you let us help you and take care of you... please mollie" Meredith pleaded with their daughter to let them in.

"I'm scared"

"I know you are, we just want to help and make you feel comfortable and safe"

"Okay... in that case can I please get a hug" the girl looked nervous, terrified her mother wouldn't want to cuddle her but oh was she wrong

Meredith let a lone tear fall down her cheek before she ran over and scooped mollie into her arms and swept her into a tight embrace. Both of them now crying of happiness because finally they were beginning to move forward.

Meredith sat on the bed with mollie still sobbing, all her trauma finally rising to the surface, like a tidal wave, Meredith went through this, she knew that this would likely occur multiple times a day for a while. She and Addison both knew this was coming so they were ready to help mollie through it.
