"Well, it was reported, that the scream was that of a girl, and now I'm asking myself: where's your daughter, anyway?", the night potter interrogated Mom, who hesitated.

"She feels a little unwell..."

"Oh, sorry to hear that"

"The scream they heard was her waking up from a nightmare, you know...I guess that explains it"

"Could be"

"What?"

"I better talk to her myself to make sure, she's okay, Mrs. Anderson"

"No, that's not a good idea. I'm her mother and..."

"Lyza!?", the man suddenly called me and I tried not to breath.

"...and I'm assuring you, she's alright"

"Ma'am, we already talked about this...either me or the police...your choice..."

"But...you can't...this is private..."

"I will of course treat this confidentially, ma'am. Is she in the bathroom?", Eugene asked and for a few seconds, no one said a thing.

"Lyza, show yourself", she suddenly ordered me, but I really couldn't! To my surprise, the urine was not absorbed by the mattress. I stared at the puddle.

"Well, I think I better call the cops..."

"LYZA!", Mom shouted and a few seconds later suddenly uncovered me!

"Mom, NO!", I screamed and sat there in a puddle of pee right in front of Eugene, who looked just as shocked as me. Mom on the other hand looked disappointed.

"Oh no...see, Eugene? That's why I tried to keep you out. I'm sorry, we ruined the bed..."

"No, no, that's actually okay", he stammered unsure.

"Can you say that again...I mean...why?"

"The registration says bedwetter, so your daughter has special sheets, blanket, and pillow"

"I don't understand...", Mom wondered confused and felt the material. This explained why the puddle stayed on top.

"There should be another set of linens in the bed drawer underneath. Looks like the receptionist forgot to tell you about...", the night potter added and suddenly it made sense. Seela must have noted and replaced the sheets after hearing about my diapers. Meanwhile, Mom looked in the drawer:

"Indeed"

"I still gotta ask her, though. Lyza, are you okay?", he suddenly asked me, who was in tears.

"I...yes, sir"

"You feel comfortable enough to stay in the room with your Mom?"

"Yes!"

"Okay, that's all. Then I won't bother you any longer"

"Thank you for caring", Mom added before Eugene left the room with a smirk and closed the door.

I still sat in my puddle wiping my tears away, when Mom came over and gave me a big hug. I couldn't believe I actually got embarrassed in front of this potter. But I had wet the bed like a toddler and Mom still wasn't mad at me. That was something I guess ^^

"That was soo embarrassing..."

"I'm sorry, honey. He left me with no choice"

"I guess", I mourned staring at the puddle of urine. Mom lifted my chin with her fingers.

"How about you quickly clean yourself up, while your Mom takes care of the bed?"

"Okay..."

"The faster we fix things, the faster you'll feel better", she added and helped me to my feet. I went to the bathroom and before I entered, I saw her trying to strip the wet bed already.
