Chimmin And His Girl Friend

You enter your room, not meaning to close the door so hard, and grimace when it does. You sigh and get ready to take a shower. When you finish, you sit on the side of your bed, brushing out your hair. You check your cell phone, and there are several messages from Yoongi, which you ignore, and one from Jimin. 

 You are two inches shorter than your best friend Jimin, and he affectionately calls you his Mini Girl Friend, which has caused some rumors. You both laugh whenever you see dating rumors about the two of you pop up. He gets a kick out of it, and it helps remind him not to take the haters seriously because the trick's on them. 

You text Jimin:

Mini girl Friend- You still up Chimmin

Chimmin - Hey Peanut

Mini girl Friend - *cries*

Chimmin - You ok baby girl? I just spoke to Yoongi, more like he spoke to me

Mini girl Friend - oh no

Chimmin - what happened?

Mini girl Friend - my anxiety got the best of me

Chimmin - over thinking again?

Mini girl Friend- yes and I made a mess of things

Chimmin - from what he told me I think you both did

Chimmin - I got his side of it already. Tell me yours

Mini girl Friend - I don't know, just hangry, rocks and stuff

Chimmin - um, about the whole rock thing, that is just Yoongi

Mini girl Friend - he wants to be a rock because rocks don't have feelings

Chimmin - yeah, but he doesn't really want to be a rock

Mini girl Friend - he says he does

Chimmin - He thinks by blocking his feelings he can't be hurt like he was in the past. That is the part of a rock he wants to be, the part where there is no hurt."

Mini girl Friend - I, I can understand that. When my brothers and Appa died, I didn't want to hurt

Chimmin - He told me he had been trying to build his courage up to confess to you. he was going to try at dinner

Mini girl Friend -  but why would he tell me he'd rather be a rock?

Chimmin - He said he was trying to explain to you how hard it is for him to show his feelings, especially love and affection, but with you, he was ready to do that.

You suddenly remember part of the conversation in the car. 'That's what he was trying to tell me, but I cut him off.'

Mini girl Friend - oh Chimmin, I said such mean things to him. I thought he . . . 

Chimmin - he wants to talk to you tomorrow when we come over for dinner

Mini girl Friend -  we can talk now if he wants, I can text him 

Chimmin- Love, he wants to talk to you face to face, in person

Mini girl Friend - Ok, tell him ok

Chimmin - I will when he wakes up, he had several shots of whiskey then went straight to bed.

Mini girl Friend - oh

Chimmin - goodnight love, we'll see you tomorrow

Mini girl Friend - goodnight and thank you for clearing things up for me

Chimmin - *kiss* goodnight

Mini girl Friend - *smooch* goodnight

You turn off your phone, and since your hair is now dry, you braid it before getting under the covers to sleep. All you could think about was Yoongi and the kiss he gave you in your office. 

You wonder where it all went wrong? 

You suddenly sit up in bed, eyes wide, "JIMIN!" 

You lay back down. He didn't mean to hurt you or Yoongi, only to help, but you think he could have found a better way. You drift off to sleep.

Yoongi is in bed, thinking about you and his conversation with Jimin. He gets back up, takes another shot of whiskey, and then returns to bed. He lies on his side with his cell phone in his hand, texting you but not getting any replies.

 He falls asleep, still waiting, holding his phone in his hand.
