Chapter 23

"Yibo, I asked you a question. What is going on here? Are you two really that bold to do such things in someone's kitchen for all to see?"

"I am sorry, mom, it's my fault. Please don't blame Zhan. He really didn't want to do this. I forced him to."

"YIBO! What are you telling me right now. Are you telling me that you are trying to assault someone in my house? What has gotten into you?"

"It's not like that, mom. I am not saying I am trying to assault him, I am saying it was because i nagged him that he finally gave in. I wouldn't do something like that to anyone, especially not him."

I kept Zhan firmly in my arms, in a tight hug. The way he was trembling from panic, I felt like if I let go, he would fall to the floor.

"Mom, can I come talk to you later, please."

"Why not now? What, do you want to tell me that it's not what it looks like?"

"No, it is what it looks like, but I would like to talk more about it tomorrow morning, with dad as well."

There are 2 reasons I can't talk to my mom right now. Zhan and the tent between my legs.

He turned and started walking back to his room, and I followed him. He didn't object or chase me away. He got to his room, and he got into bed, I got in too and cuddled him. He still did not object. He seemed to have given up rejecting my advances.
