Just to find you

Chapter seven Ruby pov:

"We're here." I say pulling up to the driveway where my mum lived. I turned the car off and looked over at her. At the airport we had to wait a couple hours until sunset to leave and then I went to get the car we rented while she waited in the shadows of the airport with her hoody protecting her from the last of the suns rays.

"Very nice house." She said looking at the two story house. With an open grassy field in the back.

"My mother worked really hard to buy this house." I replied softly.

"It shows." Seiya said, looking from the house to me.

"Are you ready?" She asked me and I nodded.

"Are you nervous?" I asked seeing her eyes roam over the house again.

"Yes but not for the reasons you're thinking." She replied and I grabbed her hand.

"What are the reasons?" I asked curiously and she looked at me and smiled .

"Don't worry. I'm fine." She said giving me a kiss on the cheek. I bit my lip hesitant for a second before asking.

"Before we go in, can I have a real kiss?" I asked playfully.

She rolled her eyes but smirked at me.
"You're so human. Fine I guess one is okay." She said and I leaned forward and eagerly pressed my lips to hers for a few minutes until I had to pull away to breathe. She pecked my lips teasingly and laughed. "Come on let's go."She said and we both got out the car and grabbed our bags before knocking on the door.

A moment later the door opened to reveal my mum. "Mum!" I say flinging myself at her.

"Ruby!" My mum exclaimed hugging me back with a laugh. "I've missed you so much!" She said pulling out of our hug.

"I missed you too mum." I say laughing, my eyes tearing up. I didn't realize how much I missed her until she was right in Front of me. She laughed happily as she touched my cheek, before she turned and took a look at Seiya.

"Mum this is Seiya, my girlfriend." I say stepping by Seiya and taking her hand. Honestly Seiya was much more than that to me but I didn't have to tell my mum everything. I couldn't anyway, Seiya's biggest secret was now my biggest secret. I would protect her the best way I could.

"Hello nice to meet you." Seiya said politely, bowing her head as My mum gapped at Seiya. I know what she was seeing , the same thing everyone else who see's her saw. An unbelievably, unrealistic beauty. Beauty that made you think someone airbrushed an angel on a painting and the painting came  alive.

"Oh!" My mum said in a flustered tone and blinked rapidly. "I've heard so much about you and please call me Katia. Come inside." She said stepping out of the way to let us in.

"Thank you and I hope it was all good things." Seiya replied.

"Oh yes. Though my daughter failed to mention how beautiful you were." Mum said giving me a pointed look.

"Mum I told she was a beautiful woman." I said with a laugh and Seiya then laughed as well.

"Well thank you. Though Ruby is far more beautiful than I am. You're very beautiful yourself Katia. I can see where Ruby gets her charm and looks." She smiled and my mum laughed as I saw her cheeks turn a slight pink. Wow even my mum is hopeless against her. I thought shaking my head in amazement.

"You can go sit your bags upstairs. Ruby why don't you show her to your room."

"Okay we'll be back down soon." I say kissing my mothers cheek before taking Seiya's hand and she followed me up the stairs to my room.
