Snow.

The snow fell softly and quietly, almost as if the forest was a living, breathing entity, inhaling and exhaling with each gentle flake that floated down from above. I stood there in awe, watching as the snow-covered our footsteps, erasing any trace of our presence from the landscape.

The silence was almost eerie, with only the gentle rustling of the trees and the occasional flutter of a bird breaking the stillness. It was almost as if the snow had frozen everything in its path, suspending time for a brief moment.

Price, Ghost, Soap, Me, Gaz and König were on a mission, one that could determine whether we kill Makarov this year. We had received a lead on where one of Makarov's men might be hiding, and we were determined to take him in before he went back into hiding.

We were split into three teams, each assigned a specific role in the operation. Price and Soap were on point, leading the way with their seasoned expertise and precise movements. Ghost and Gaz, on the other hand, were tasked with providing cover and support, ready to move in at a moment's notice and takedown any threats that might arise. And as for me and König, we were the wildcard, our assignment a mystery even to ourselves.

We moved through the forest with the precision and skill of trained professionals, our movements synchronized and disciplined. The snow on the ground covered any trace of our passing, leaving no evidence of the mission we were on. We surrounded the base, which lay in the middle of the cold forest, carefully choosing our positions and waiting for the signal to strike.

As König and I waited for our turn to strike, I camouflaged myself with the snow, blending in seamlessly with the white landscape around us.

As I lay there in the snow, I looked up at König. He stood there, his figure framed by the dark forest behind him, his hands resting on the stock of his rifle. I spoke quietly, not wanting to draw attention to myself or our position. "What do you think our role is, König?" I whispered, my voice barely above a breath.

König remained silent for a moment, his eyes scanning our surroundings for any signs of movement or danger. Finally, he replied, his voice husk and measured. "We will know once Price tells us."

I nodded, not giving an audible answer back as it seemed like he didn't want to converse.

As we waited in the cold silence of the forest, I heard a voice in my earpiece. It was Price and he had bad news. "[Last Name], König, our cover has been blown." As he said that, I heard the distant sound of gunfire. "You both are in charge of chasing and capturing him." He sounded out of breath on the other side. "He went south."

My heart raced as Price gave us our orders, his voice calm and collected, as if he were simply giving us a routine assignment. I knew the stakes were high. If we failed, Makarov's henchman would get away, and innocent people would suffer. If we succeeded, we could stop him and prevent a disaster from occurring much earlier than planned.

I glanced at König, who stood next to me, his eyes resolute and determined. I knew that he was as much in the zone as I was, and that we both understood the gravity of the situation. As we prepared to move out, I felt a sense of reverence for the duty we held in our hands, and a conviction that we would not fail.

König and I sprung into action, our boots pounding against the snow as we charged towards the direction where the henchman was headed. We ran as fast as we could, moving with a sense of purpose and urgency. We couldn't let this opportunity slip away.

As we ran, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, and my breath coming in quick, gasping bursts. My mind was crystal clear though, focused on the task at hand. I knew that time was of the essence, and that we had to catch the henchman before he got too far. As we made our way, we passed several other soldiers that attempted to guard the henchman. Each one being met with bullets or a hand to the skull. Damn, König.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, we caught a glimpse of the henchman in the distance. He was running as fast as he could, but we were gaining on him. König raised his rifle and took aim, firing off a few shots that narrowly missed. We continued to chase him, determined to bring him down before he could disappear completely.

As König and I closed in on the henchman, a soldier came out of the shadows, pushing me onto the snowy ground. The soldier had a knife in his hand, attempting to stab me as I tried pushing him off. But before he could land a blow, König came out of nowhere, lifting the soldier high overhead and slamming him back down against the ground several times.

The sound of bones cracking echoed in the forest, and the soldier lay still, the knife fallen from his hand. König then turned his attention to me, his eyes filled with an emotion I couldn't dissect.

"Thank you," I huffed out, quickly standing on my feet and pursuing our target again. "Halt die Klappe."

What language is that?

We got closer to the henchman, our breath raggedy with exertion. König aimed his rifle with deadly precision, shooting the man in the leg and causing him to wail in pain and fall to the snowy ground. I raised my pistol, pointing it at the helpless henchman. I felt a surge of adrenaline coursing through my veins, and I could see the shock and fear in the henchman's eyes.

"Don't get up and do anything funny," I warned the henchman, my voice firm and determined. "Or we will not hesitate to end you."

.

A/N: I imagine König using his sheer size alone for kills lol. Anyway, hope you enjoyed.

Is..is anyone there? Knocks on door frantically.
