Falling For You

Chapter 9

Two months later

Kyra

It has been2 months  month Aayu moved in with me. With him, everything feels just right. He stayed with me when I was at my lowest and would do anything to cheer me up. We would secretly meet in the office and talk for sometime, and then get caught by abhi who would look for Aayu due to some work. He would go to the office together, of course he would drop me a few blocks away to avoid being seeing together. And we had slept in the same room once when he was kind of sick and wanted me near him, though I slept on the couch.

Today while we were at work, Aayu had told me that we had to leave for a business trip to New York to crack the deal of a major collaboration. All the department heads were going to be there as it was a very important deal. We were supposed to leave in the next week, and I was pretty excited. It was always my dream to visit New York with the man of my dreams. Over the past month, I was pretty sure it was going to be Aayu who was going to be with me, so I was more than happy to accompany him. 

Right now, I was waiting for him to get back from work. I had just finished cooking and was watching youtube. I had just got my periods and was practically dying due to the pain. I don't really get pain on my periods but whenever I would get, it would be the worst, like today. I was sitting with a heat pack, frustrated as he was late. I was thinking about him, when I decided, I would confess him when we were in New York. I curled up on the couch like a ball trying to bear the pain. Tears were about to flow out of my eyes, when I heard the door open and close. I got up and saw Aayu walk in in his black suit.

He removed his blazer and opened the cufflinks of his shirt and rolled up the sleeves. He ran his hand through his hair and sighed tiredly and looked at me said a soft hey. I got up and gave him a smile. "How was your day?", he asked me as he was out the entire day to do site visits. I said in a rough voice, "It was tiring." He came near me and hugged me tightly. It felt  like bolt of energy was transfered into my body and I felt energetic. How funny it is that a person can make you feel happy and give you energy by just being besides you. 

He stroked my back while I ruffled his hair, which is literally the most satisfying thing for me. "Lets eat? I made some pasta because I was very tired." He gave me the cutest smiled which melted my heart and made me forget the pain that I was feeling and told me that he was going to get changed and then have food. I quickly served the food and waited for him to get downstairs. I managed to eat a little food whole occasionally chatting with him about random things. We both were way too tired to tired to stay awake so, we decided to go to sleep early. We walked to our rooms and as we had made it a ritual now, I went near him and hugged him. I went on my toes and kissed his forehead and his cheeks. He gave me a warm smile and kissed my forehead, probably longer than what he would regularly give me. I returned him  warm smile and went to my room.

I twisted an turned on my bed. I was not able to sleep due to the pain. I tossed on the bed, scrolled on social media or tried to sleep. I wanted to wake him up, but I didn't want to disturb his sleep. Tears made way through my eyes, as I tried to bear the pain. At last, I was not able tp bear the pain, that I went and knocked on his door. He opened the door and looked at me with sleepy eyes and messy hair. I said in a small nervous voice, "Can I sleep in your room? My stomach hurts due to my periods. It's really bad. It's okay if you don't want to like." He interuppted me and pulled me in his embrace. 

His cologne calmed me down from tearing up. I stayed like that for a few minutes, while he stroked my hair and back. He took made me lay down on the bed and then clmibed in besides me. He hugged me so that my head was squished on his well build chest. His body radiated warmth which made me sleepy, so I closed my eyes. After a few minutes, I heard him say, "You look so cute huh! You are going to kill me due to it. Ahhhhh I like you-no love you so much! I hope you don't feel any pain tomorrow, I can't see you like this. I want you to give you everything you want and express my love for you, but I don't know if you feel the same."

He said and hugged me tightly. I fell asleep after hearing him, mentally making a note to confess him soon. The next morning, I was woken up due to the sun hitting my face. I realised I was not in my room and remembered the events from last night. On hearing the shower sound coming from his bathroom, I dashed into my room to get ready for work. I quickly freshened up and went to the kitchen to make breakfast, but to my shock Aayu was already in there making eggs. He smiled at me and said, "I made eggs and toast with coffee for breakfast. I hope you will like it." He came and kept two plates on the dining table. I said, "You could have woken me up before making. I would have helped you." He told me that I had cried and was in deep sleep when he got up, so he did not wake me up. 

"It's delicious Aayu! Thanks for the tasty breakfast!" ,I said and gave him a wide smile. He said a thankyou while being a little blushy. I continued,"Ummm, I'm sorry if I troubled you last night. I don't usually get cramps, but when I get, I'm half dead." He smiled and said, "Don't think that you troubled me. It's natural to get them and I don't mind taking care of you, I love doing that so don't worry." I blushed a little and digged into my breakfast. We were going to work, when Aarav called me, "Yaaar, your best friend is moody and wants you to come over. she won't eat anything. I'm worried about both of them. She says she missed you and wants to go on a shopping spree with you.", I heard Elena scream, " I told you not to call her. she must be enjoying with Aayush. And I don't feel like eating." I told him that I would inform him after speaking with Aayu if I could have a leave.

"Aayu, I wanted to ask-", he interrupted by saying, "I heard what those both crackheads were saying. How about I join you? Plus we call can have fun!" I said, "Well Mr.Oberoi did you just forget you are drowned in work as we have to be in NYC next week followed by the wedding of the two crackheads?" He sighed and said,"Ahhhhh yea I remember. I'll drop you at their place." I smiled and said a thanks.

He stopped the car in front of Aarav's apartment building. I quickly pecked his cheek and ran out of the car to their house.
