It was at 7 when Aayu's dad called me and told that Abhi and Aayu were having a stressful day. He asked me to drop them home as they were still busy when he left for home. Eloise and I decided to stop by with food and return home after dropping them. We had our dinner with them and Aayu and I went our for a walk. On getting back to their cabin, we found Eloise and Abhi sleeping so we let them sleep and I went to drop him. When I reached home, I was welcomed into a chaotic house. I saw everyone in my family sitting on the sofa with their spouse bickering about which movie to watch, while Kiara and Theo looked purely uninterested and done with them.

I frowned at the bickering noise they made and rolled my eyes playfully and went to my room. I came downstairs in Aayu's hoodie and my pair of shorts with my hair tied in a bun and specs hanging on my nose. I silently went to the kitchen and looked for something sweet to eat. I found a tub of vanilla ice-cream and I silently went to the theatre room to enjoy the movie of my choice. Funny how we have an entire theatre room but still these people were sitting on the sofa and fighting over which movie to watch. I was halfway through the movie when my phone rang and I saw my dad calling me. I answered the phone and he asked me where I was, and why was I not at home. I almost screamed in his ears and said in an offended voice, "Really you all didn't even notice me entering the house? You all were bickering like kids. I came home literally 2 hours ago. I am in theatre room watching a movie so bye."

I angrily hung up the phone and continued watching the film. I went out after an hour when everyone was silently watching a horror film. I smirked internally and and hid myself behind the sofa and exactly when the climax came I screamed from behind and everyone got scared and screamed, 'Jai mata di' , while I laughed like there was no tomorrow. I was lying on the floor laughing when I felt everyones eyes on me. I controlled myself and said, "That's my revenge for not noticing that I was home." I started laughing again and everyone else joined me too. My aunt asked, "Kyra, where is Eloise? Wasn't she going to come back with you?" I nervously laughed and said, "Ummm, apparently, we were going to get back together, but Abhi and she ended up falling asleep in the cabin while Aayu and I went for a walk after dinner. They were in deep sleep so we didn't wake them up. I'll pick her up tomorrow morning don't worry."

She gave me a okay smile while I sat on the sofa besides my nani, who was sitting besides my aunt. Soon everyone went to bed. I was going to leave, but I found my mom sitting on the lawn. I smiled to myself and went to sit down besides her. I gently laid my head on her lap and looked at her. She smiled and ruffled my hair. "Mom, I wanted to ask you something. Can we fix the marriage date?" She nodded and said, "We did identify a few dates. There are good dates during the next month and the month after that. We were going to talk about it to you both soon." "Probably next month mom? I know it's too soon but, I I have grown so accustomed to his presence thats it's really difficult for me to even sleep. And more than that, I'm excited to see what the future hold for me."

She chuckled sweetly and said, "Guess someone had fallen hard for my Aayush." I laughed at her statement and said, "Anyone can fall for him. He is way too sweet and is very caring and is a pure gentleman." "Uhumm, just keep in mind, that you take care of both of yourself and that don't hide anything from him. And if you have any problems and fights, always remember to resolve them before sleeping and talk it out. It helps." I gulped slowly and nodded a okay. I yawned and said, "I'll leave, I'm sleepy I don't want to look like a zombie tomorrow." I kissed her cheek and went to my room to fall asleep.

The next morning I woke up early and went to the gym to workout. I came back after an hour and a half and got ready for the day. I had to go an get my outfit for the ceremony from the shop and pick up some files from the office to work. I picked up Eloise on the way, who was looking very happy. We collected the stuff and retuned home by lunch time. We soon started to get ready and finally we were done. I wore my black gown and texted Aayu that I was leaving. Elo and I picked them up and decided we would go in two different cars. I went with Aayu and Elo went with Abhi.

I got into the car while he was staring at me. It sent me shivers down my spine, but I managed to give him a soft smile, which he returned. "You look stunning , love.", he said while I replied while smiling, "You look very handsome." He smiled at me and started driving. I kept fidgeting with my fingers and anxiety was taking over me. I felt his left hand making his way to my right thigh and held my hand in his. He drove with one had and said softly, "I know love, you are anxious and so am I. But you know what, don't care about what the people think. We love each other and our families love us too. That's what I think matters more than anything." I nodded a yes and looked ahead with a smile.

As soon as we reached the place, Aayu got out and came to open my side of the door. He offered me his hand, which I gladfully and gracefully held and got out. A wide smile was displayed on my lips. I could hear the noise of the cameras clicking and bright light making its way right into my eyes. He held me by my waist and we went inside quickly. We went in and smiled at each other, knowing we were finally done with it. I met Eloise and Abhi, who were near the bar. I took a glass of champagne and started to talk to few of our business partners with Eloise, while Abhi and Aayu went to talk with the others. I was just done taking with a few of them when they announced that everyone should be seated at the tables. Coincidently, Abhi, Aayu, Eloise and I were sitting around the same circular table along with one of my business partner and his daughter. I could feel Aayu's face becoming pale as soon as they came and sat in front of us.

I was sitting next to Aayu and he held my hand under the table which made me question what he was doing. Soon, they started giving the awards and finally, they announced ours. Eloise and I went to receive the award and went to go and get it. While Eloise was giving her speech, I saw that the daughter of our business partner went with a smirk on her face and sat besides Aayu. Abhi had an angry expression on his face, which was looking quite scary. I was practically confused what was happening. Soon, Aayu got up and went out followed by Abhi. After completing my speech, I went out and didn't find anyone over there. I called Aayu, but he didn't pick it up. I was getting very worried so I called Abhi and he told me they were at the Business Lounge in the hotel where the ceremony was held. I made my way to the Lounge and saw Abhi sitting there. Aayu was still looking kind of pale , but had a firm expression on his face. I sat down besides him and held his hand. "Baby, is everything alright? I noticed you face being pale after my business partner came and sat besides us. Is everything okay? Did that girl do anything?"

He sighed and said, "It's nothing Kyra, please don't ask me right now. I'm not in the mood." "Aayu, I literally ended my speech halfway and came back here in your search because I was worried. I can clearly see something is wrong but you are not telling me.", I said in a angry as well as worried voice. He raised his voice and said, "Kyra please, I need some time alone. I'm not in the mood to tell what's wrong. Please leave me alone for sometime." I got up and said, "Okay then, I'm going back home.", I walked out and went straight outside and called for my driver. He came and dropped me to my apartment and went home. I went inside my apartment in anger and went to my room. I switched on the lights and sobbed softly. I didn't intend to be angry on him. I was just worried after seeing him like that.

I decided to take a warm bath to make myself feel better. I went to the shower and went inside and started the shower. The warm water made its way through my scalp and over my body. I closed my eyes as they started to tear up again. I softly washed my hair and walked to my closet to get changed. I opened the door and wore my black shorts and a white oversized hoodie. I went out to the kitchen with a gloomy face along with my phone on my hand. I had a glass of wine and sat out in the terrace looking at the city. Looking outside, I could hear the waves crashing the shore and the breeze moving. I heard my phone ringing so I opened my eyes to see Abhi calling me. I simply said a hi and he asked if I'm okay. I said a yes and he told me that Aayu would soon sort out the stuff. I replied, "Abhi, you know what, let him take his time and space. I don't want to interrupt it. Anyways bye. I'm gonna sleep."

I cut the call and was just about to go to my room, but I heard the doorbell ring.
