Falling For You

Chapter 11

Aayushman 

 I just drove to our house, with some chocolates and a few heating pads, just incase she needed them. I opened the door to see Kyra laying on the sofa while talking with someone. She cut the call once she saw me and got up. She came and hugged me tightly. I snaked my arms around her waist and hugged her. "You smell nice.", she said with a muffled voice. I hummed and said, "I don't want this moment to end. I feel way to comfy." She looked up at me while smiling and pecked my cheek. I tucked the loose strand if hair on her face and told her, "Do you want to go out for dinner? Maybe a mini date?" She blushed while smiling and nodded a yes. I pecked her cheek and told her that I was leaving to get ready. 

She came behind me and went to her room. I quickly wore a dark grey jeans with black turtle neck shirt and did my hair. I went down after spraying some cologne and waited fir her to get ready. Soon she came down wearing a black colour dress, which reached her mid thighs. She was looking gorgeous, with her hair left open. I smile widely at her when she came near me. She gasped loudly and said with smile, "We are matching today." "It doesn't matter K, we look great together and it looks good. She nodded and we went out while holding hands. 

Kyra

I came back from work and was sitting on my phone while talking to mom on the phone about me proposing to Aayu. We were just ending our conversation when Aayu entered the house and smiled in front of me. He asked me if I wanted to go out for dinner. I quickly said a yes and got ready for the date. I decided to wear my turtle neck dress, which hugged my curves perfectly  and reached my mid things. I left my hair open and sprayed some perfume and left the room. I came out to see Aayu wearing a black turtle neck shirt with grey pants. He looked sexy and handsome and at the same time managed to give out chocolate boy vibes. 

We left the house after having a small conversation. He opened the door of the car for me, just like the gentleman he is. He closed the door and got into the drivers seat. There was some issue with the belt and I was struggling to put it on. He came close to my face while sitting on his seat, to grab the belt and with a single pull and a click sound buckled it. We were staring into each other's eyes, feeling ourselves getting lost in the universe which we have inside your eyes. His hazelish eyes looking into my greyish ones and talking what we couldn't say. On realising how we were, he coughed a little and started the car. 

We drove off to a japanese restaurant, which I had told him randomly that I wanted to try. I was very happy on knowing that he remembered such a tiny thing like that.  I had ordered my go to salmon sushi and he ordered ramen. We also shared some matcha mochi. We talked a lot and talked about what we could do in New York. We were on our way back driving alongside the seashore. "Aayu, do you want to take a walk? It isn't crowded right now we can sit here for sometime and then go back." He said nervously, "Umm okay, but I'm kind of sleepy, maybe we can come here some other day or early morning tomorrow?" I nodded and told him it was okay.

We reached back and I asked him, "Are you feeling okay? I don't know, but you don't seem to be looking good after our conversation in the car." He said he was okay and walked in front of me to go to his room. I held his wrist and pulled him in a hug, even though I was a bit frustrated with his behaviour.  He said softly, "Kyra, please it's nothing. Its just that the are over there frustrates me a little rather makes me angry. It doesn't matter to me but still. It's the place where I found out my ex was cheating on me. I'm over her but because of that person I suffer from anxiety and nightmares. I feel disgusted. I hope you understand. And it's not that I don't want to go there with you, I want to go there with proper mental preparation to make new and amazing memories with you and overcome them." 

I nodded and said to him that it was okay. I kissed his cheeks and forehead like my habit and he kissed mine too. He awkwardly asked, "I was wondering if it was okay for us to share the same room?" I grinned and said, "Why don't you come to my room to sleep from now on? I kind of had made space for your clothes in my closet." He laughed lightly and hugged me more tightly which made me squeal a little. He said, "Well, how about I shift my closet once we get back from New York, but I'll come to sleep in your room." I nodded a okay and went in my room to get into my comfy clothes. 

Soon Aayu came inside while wearing his grey sweats and white tee. He was in awe after looking at my room with minute details. Most of the time, I would end up going to his room for the two times we had shared one room. And he had been here but he didn't stay here too long to look at the room minutely. He looked around the room in awe and he had loved it. I was laying on the bed so I opened my arms for him to join in. He laughed softly and joined me and got into my arms. He kept his head on my chest while I played with his hair. He asked, "Aren't you sleepy sweetheart?" He called me the name and I blushed. I replied, "Nope Aayu, I want to sleep but I just want to stay like this for sometime." I could only feel it internally how ethereal I was feeling, holding him in my arms and the warmth I was feeling. 

I couldn't express myself and it was eating me up. How much I wanted to tell him I loved him, how much I liked his warmth, the way he made me all fuzzy inside my heart, the butterflies I felt when he would laugh or run his hand through his hair and mess them up. How much I wanted to let him know that he was the best and I was there to protect him. I was lost in my thoughts when he snapped his fingers in front of my face and I was brought back to reality. He asked why was I crying, when I noticed that a tear had rolled down my cheek. I told him, it was just because some dust particle and tucked myself in. I had slept while my back was facing him. I kept my eyes close to stop myself from crying. 

After a few minutes, after a little shuffling, he pulled me by my waist, and my back hit a hard surface, which was none other than his chest. He snaked his arms around my waist and hugged me. I turned around and saw him staring down at me with loving eyes. I started in his hazel orbs, getting lost into them once again. I lowered my gaze and closed my eyes to fall asleep. I couldn't sleep entire night, as I was staring at his peaceful face when he was sleeping. He looked like a baby at night, while asleep and a god-damn greek god during the day.

Hello everyone! It's Des here. The past two weeks were a total rollercoaster of emotions due to unexpected things happening which has left me totallt broken. I'm sorry for not updating before.
