Volume 1; Chap 5.2

You were speed walking towards the rear of the train. People were running the opposite way, in fear.

'Why would someone rig a train in broad daylight full of passengers. That's stupid, even for the Port Mafia.'

You slid open the door to one of the cars and we're about to walk in until some sped past you and bumped into you.

"Hey! Don't go that way! It's too dangerous, didn't you hear the announcement?" You yelled.

The person stopped in the middle of the car and you ran over to them while their back faced you.

"Please return to the central car. There's an explosive in this direction." You warned.

A phone started ringing and the person answered the phone and brought it to their ear. The person on the other line was enraged. Atsushi was supposed to be in your place right now.

"This isn't the time to be taking calls, you'll be in danger if you stay here!" You told them.

The person turned to look at you and that's when it hit you. Those lifeless eyes, they belonged to the girl that gave you a sense of familiarity.

"Hey you're.." you furrowed your eyebrows, "I knew that kimono seemed familiar."

The girl stood there, listening to the voice through the phone. After a few seconds, stripes of purple kanji characters emanated around her and wind blew everywhere.

A human-like being with a katana was summoned behind her.

Ability: Demon Snow

You gazed at the being behind her, "This doesn't look good.." you mumbled.

The being unsheathed its katana, and just the force of that sent you backwards.

You smirked and pulled out a small dagger from your sleeve and unsheathed it. It wasn't nearly as big as the katana the being had, but it'll do the job to protect yourself. You figured your ice or fire walls won't be enough to protect yourself.

"Shred your enemy to pieces, Demon Snow." The person on the other side of the line said to Kyouka.

You ran towards her and the being, 'Demon Snow', went towards you at full speed. Your dagger collided with her katana. You tapped your foot on the ground and made fire shoot out from beneath Demon Snow, but she moved out the way before it could hit her.

Demon Snow attacked again but this time she threw multiple shots at you that you could barely dodge. She managed to cut you twice on each arm.

You clenched your teeth while your arms continued to bleed and stained your shirt.

Demon Snow wasted no time and threw another blow with her katana. This time she cut you in an 'X' form across your stomach. She even cut the door on the side of the car to pieces.

You bled and fell backwards. You landed on your elbows and groaned in pain. You placed your hand on your stomach, there was a huge gash right across.

"My name is Kyouka Izumi. I'm an orphan, just like you." She said flatly. Your eyes slightly widened.

"I like bunny rabbits and boiled tofu. I do not like dogs or lightning. I've killed 35 people in six months with the Port Mafia." She continued.

"Protect the bomb. And kill anyone who dares to interfere" the person on the other line of the phone said.

Another explosion went off that shook the whole train. You slowly start to get up. You noticed people behind you in the other car of the train.

The train got out of the tunnel and the sun's rays shone down on it.
