Once again, Tanaka was the first one to wake up out of the two.

As soon as he opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was Tobio, an inch away from his face.

"God you're so cute," he whispers, sitting up. "Hm? D'you say s'mthin'?" Tobio asks, words slurring together from morning tiredness.

"No," Tanaka quickly says. Sitting up, Kageyama gives a stretch. "Hey, did you sleep okay last night?" Tobio asks, now concerned and remember what had happened.

"Yeah, I'm okay," Tobio sits in front of him, gently grabbing his face and making him look at him. "Are you sure?" he nods. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I kinda just thought that you might leave," he admits. Tanaka smiles and shakes his head, "it's okay, kinda would have been a good fuckin' heads up though," he jokes.

Tobio gets up and heads toward the small kitchen. "Did you want breakfast?"
"Oh yeah I wouldn't mind breakfast. Did you want me to do anything?"
"No, it's okay, you just there and look pretty."

Tanaka follows him, watching toast some bread in a pan and fry eggs in another one, adding some herbs, salt and pepper for flavour.

Unable to help himself, and discovering Kageyama liking physical contact, he hugs him from behind.

Tobio freezes for a second, not having expected it. "Are you okay?" Tobio asks again, flipping the bread so it toasts somewhat evenly.

"Yeah, why? I thought you said you like physical contact?" Kageyama goes quiet, concentrating on their breakfast, grabbing out two plates.

"Did you want one or two pieces of toast?" He asks for clarification. "Just one will do." Soon enough, Tobio had served them both breakfast, now eating on the couch watching Kiki's Delivery Service.

"This bread is really good."
"Oh yeah I baked it myself. Grow the herbs myself too. Most of the stuff here are either homemade or home grown," he shrugs, a jar of tomato sauce in hand. "You want some? I forgot to ask."
"What is it?"
"Oh tomato sauce, also homemade."
"Yeah okay." Kageyama hands over the jar, and using the spoon, Tanaka puts some on.

He takes a bite. "Holy shit, this is really good. Oh my god. You're a really good cook."
"I also bake," Kageyama adds.
"Like cookies?"
"Yeah. Cookies, cakes, cupcakes."
"So-"
"I have some choc chip cookies if you want them later." Smiling, Tanaka nods.

Once they finished breakfast, Kageyama takes the plate off him and heads toward the sink. "I can wash up if you want?"
"No it's okay, I can do it."
"It's just like four things I really don't mind." Tanaka already shoved Tobio out of the way.

"The pans are already soaking. The pot of water is under the sink,"
"Right, thank you." Kageyama watches as Tanaka heaves the heavy pot out and on the small bench. "You might wanna use a cup to scoop out the water."
"Yep, thank you."

"Did you wanna go for another walk?" Tobio asks after Kiki's Delivery Service had finished.

Tanaka nervously glances at the door. "We're fine during the day, it's nighttime when things get weird," he reassures.
"Yeah sure."

Smiling, and to Tanakas disappointment, he puts on a shirt, with his socks and shoes, with a backpack with some food and drinks.

Leaving the little house, Tanaka frowns when he notices scratch marks on the wooden door.
Unnerved, he walks closer to Kageyama, feeling safer next to him.

They take the same path they did yesterday, except this time Tobio seemed to be taking his time and properly enjoy everything around him.

They end up at the river. He does the same thing as yesterday, taking his shoes and socks off, dipping his feet in the running water.

Closing his eyes, he listens to the chirping of the birds and the gentle sounds of the swaying of the trees.

Tanaka sits on the swing, watching him.

Getting up five minutes later, Tobio takes his shirt off and jumps in the water, losing balance then falling in. He laughs at himself, taking his somewhat still dry shirt and tossing it near his shoes.

Getting off the swing, Tanaka hurried over toward the water's edge. "You okay?" He asks, just in case.

"The waters nice come for a swim!"
"No, I'm good for now." Frowning Tobio walked closer to him, smiling. "Please?"
"Oh fine," he says, taking his shoes and socks off, with his shirt. Unlike Tobio, he gets in somewhat calmly. Standing in a shallower end that's only knee deep.

Kageyama stands up and drags him into the water with him. "Dammit! You're a little shit. How dare you." Kageyama only laughs at him, giving him a splash.

Shaking his head, Tanaka splashes him back, a little harder. He grins. The grin disappeared as Tobio sent a tidal wave his way.

Once he was able to open his eyes, Kageyama bolted, trying to run through the water.

Unfortunately, Tanaka caught up to him, and managed to throw him over his shoulders, where he dropped him in a deeper end of the river.

Just as he was about to walk away, Tobio tackled him, sitting on top of him, both a little breathless.

Just as Kageyama had his guard down though, Tanaka tackled him back.

It went like that until both were breathless and called a truce.

Now they sat in the water, content. Tobio used Tanaka as an anchor, where he wrapped his legs around him, so he could float peacefully in the water without drifting.

Interrupting the peace, Tanaka's stomach started to grumble.

"Hey, did you bring any food by any chance?" Sitting up, Kageyama nodded. "Yeah, in the bag I brought," he answers, standing up to also grab something to eat.

Kageyama grabs the shirt he tossed on the ground and hangs it out on nearby tree with a bit of sun, then taking his shorts off and doing the same. Now only in his boxers.

Grabbing the bag, he pulls out a decent sized piece of fabric to sit on, with four sodas, some fruit, a tin of presumably the chocolate chip cookies he was talking about earlier, crackers and some sandwiches.

"Wow, you really thought of everything." Tanaka says, amazed. "Mhm," is all Kageyama's able to say, having already bitten into his sandwich.

"Did you wanna take your shorts off too?" Tanaka coughs on the food he's eating, "what?"
"To let them dry. So, you're not walking back in wet clothes." He explains."Oh yeah right, in a minute."

Lunch finishes and Tanaka had taken his shorts off like Kageyama had suggested.

This time Tobio sits in the swing, watching the water go by. Gently, Tanaka starts pushing him. "This swing is stable, right?"
"Well I wouldn't be sitting on it if I wasn't? You sat on it earlier too you know."

Tanaka stops pushing Tobio on the swing, wanting a bit of warmth.

He sits in his boxers with a stomach full of food, stretched out on the blanket, sun shining down on him.

Hearing rustling coming from the tree by the river, he opens his eyes, just to find Tobio climbing it.
"What are you doing?" He asks, getting up to go and make sure he doesn't hurt himself. "Rope swing!"
"What?"
"Rope swing!" He repeats, tying a rope around a sturdy looking branch.

"I was supposed to do it ages ago, but I kept on forgetting," he explains as he climbs back down, grabbing onto the rope and tying a knot toward the bottom. He tugs on it just make sure it's secure.

Stepping back a bit, he holds onto the rope, jumps and lets go, landing in the water with a splash.

"You wanna try?" Tobio's asks. "Yeah, I can give it a go," Tanaka says, copying Kageyama and landing with a splash.
