A small yawn escaped from my lips as I opened my eyes, quickly glancing around the room, trying to grow accustomed to the brightness.

A smile tugged at my lips as I flipped over to see Larissa still asleep. She was laying on her stomach, with her arms stretched out underneath her head, almost like a pillow.

The sun illuminated all her features so beautifully. Her skin glowed underneath the sun, each and every freckle prominent on her pale skin.

I couldn't help but bask in her beauty, noticing every small detail.

I watched for a moment, admiring every crease and wrinkle, I couldn't think of a single thing that compares to her.

I raised my hand towards Larissa's head  and carefully swept the hair from her eyes.

Larissa slowly stirred awake at the contact. Gentle blues eyes peered into  mine.

"Good morning" she whispered smiling gently at me. 

"Morning Rissa" I replied, voice still a little raspy.

Larissa giggled as she planted a small kiss on my nose.

Larissa scooted closer, scooping me in her arms and closing the small gap by placing a kiss on my lips.

I tangled my hands in her hair, getting as close to her as I could.

After a small make out session I finally pulled away, gasping for air.

I retracted my hands from Larissa's hair and wrapped my arms around her neck pulling her closer to me so I could rest my head on her shoulder.

Larissa looked down, smiling at me. She wrapped her right arm around me and gently caressed my hair.

"I love you, darling" Larissa mumbled while planting a small kiss on my forehead.

"I love you too Rissa" I replied letting out a content sigh.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, Larissa's perfume lingered in the air, even a few days later, I find it to be quite comforting.

"So what do you want to do today?" Larissa asked slightly titling her head to the side, giving me a questioning look.

I thought about it for a moment before I decided to reply.

"Honestly I'd rather just stay in bed and cuddle all day, if that's okay with you?" I said more as a question, pleading for her to say yes.

Larissa smiled at me while giving me a small nod.

"Of course we can my dear." She replied giving me a peck on the lips.

I made my way back into Larissa's arms, humming at my victory.

After awhile of relaxing in each other's arms, and enjoying each other's presence Larissa pulled away slightly, grabbing my chin and holding it in front of her face with her index finger and her thumb.

"Thank you." Larissa said making eye contact with me. She let out a small hum, taking a moment before she continued.

"Thank you for today, I really needed this. Being cooped up in my office all day really takes a toll on me, so thank you for being here." She said, then pulling me in for a small kiss.

I couldn't help but smile at her. I wish I could take all her stress away, gods know she needs a break.

"Of course Rissa, I'll always be here for you. I love you so much." I said, causing a red hue to form across my face.

Larissa only smiled as she released my face and pulled me back into her warmth.
As much as I liked getting flustered around Larissa, I was glad to be back into her embrace.

I just feel like I mostly write angst or smut so I wanted to throw in some fluff.
