^11^ Ice fishing 🪸🔮

Author: This story is New Life x Limited Life. The new life character will be Martyn with his Chilliger (Idk how to spell) and the limited life character will be Scott as a siren since he had gills and a tail and stuff. (I also bring in Jimmy and Lizzie from empires s1 a few times so I could have more fish people :>) Enjoy <3

Nobody's POV:

Scott had never seen human life, or really any animal other than sea creatures that lived in water. Where he lived the human world was unreachable, it was covered in a thick sheet of ice. It had been like that since he was born. The mermaids and sirens around his home thought humans were a hush hush topic and that they were evil creatures that only wanted to kill. His mother however before she died told him wonderful stories of how when she was young, before she met Scott's father, had fell in love with a human girl. Scott's father never approved of his wife's stories but never stopped her from telling them. After his mother had died Scott never listened to what anyone said about humans because everything they said was negative. Scott believed his mother as she was the only one he used to be able to talk to.

That was however 3 years ago. Scott had changed since then, he still celebrates his mothers birthday, it brings him peace, but he stopped caring about humans and their weird ways of living. One day Scott had been hanging out with two of his favorite fish people, Lizzie and Jimmy. Lizzie was part axolotle and Jimmy was part cod. They were seablings and quite frankly Scott's only friends. Lizzie loved exploring and often brought Scott and Jimmy with her, today however she wanted to explore the ice. She didn't tell Scott or Jimmy why, just that she wanted to.

"Swim faster slow pokes!" Lizzie was a really fast swimmer and Jimmy and Scott couldn't compete. "Then slow downnnn, I'm not as fast as you two." Jimmy whined because of course he was the slowest. As Scott and Jimmy had caught up to Lizzie she gasped loudly. "What's wrong?!" Scott exclaimed before looking up. There was a hole in the ice. Someone of something had cut an almost perfect circle in the ice. As the three got closer Scott giggled. "What are you laughing about?" Jimmy asked curiously. "Look at this minnow, it's tied to a string. It's also dead." Scott was laughing because what would be that stupid to think something would bite that.

"Idk have you met Jimmy?" Lizzie joked. "Excuse you I am very intelligent." Jimmy gasped. "Yeah okay ima inspect the hole." Lizzie said as she swam up. "Me too." Scott swam up after her. "Wait is this safe?" Jimmy sounded worried. The ice was about a foot thick so it was hard to see above the surface without going through the hole. "What.... is that?" Jimmy said squinting. Scott and Lizzie shrugged. "Ima find out." Scott swam through the hole.

"Scott wait!" Lizzie tried to warn him but he didn't listen. "WTF!" Scott heard someone scream as his head came above water. "A-are you a human." Scott sounded fascinated as he swam closer to the human like being. "What the hell are you." The human had dropped the thing he was holding when Scott swam up. "Ooooo what's this?" Scott grabbed the thing the human dropped. "You were the dumb person with the dead minnow trying to catch something." Scott laughed. "Answer my question what are you." The human said trying to sound threatening while hiding the slight fear.

"My name is Scott." Scott didn't appreciate being ask 'what' he was rather than who even though he asked the human a similar question earlier. "I said what not who." The human sounded annoyed. "Calm down buddy, being rude is not a good first impression." Scott joked right before something pulled him back into the water. "Scott you're okay!" Jimmy hugged Scott as Lizzie pulled him down from the hole. "Why wouldn't I be?" Scott sounded confused. "I don't know maybe because you're a dumbass that went into danger without being prepared!" Lizzie screamed. "She is right Scott...." Jimmy said letting go.

"That human wasn't going to do anything, and guess what, he was the idiot with the dead minnow." Scott laughed and Lizzie and Jimmy looked at him like he was an idiot. "Wait human! He could have tried to capture you!" Lizzie yelled angrily. "But he didn't now let go." Scott got out of Lizzie's grasp and swam back through the whole. "I'm back, did you miss me human." Scott saw the human jump as he came above the water. "Damnit I thought you died or something." The human rolled his eyes.

"Again rude first impression, and I didn't did just a stupid axolotle and cod." Scott glared at the two fish people below him. "An axolotle and cod in this cold of water?" The human looked into the water. "You question them and not me." Scott looked offended. "I also was wondered about you but your dumb fish brain or whatever won't answer my questions." The human rolled his eyes as he spoke. "Well I suppose I'll tell you my species if-" Scott paused to think. "If?" The human said sitting on the ice. "Your name! Tell me your name mr human." Scott smiled up at the human. "You promise to tell me your species fish boy." The human said skeptically. Scott nodded with a smile on his face. "Martyn, now speak creature." Martyn said his name quickly hoping the creature would just tell him what he was. "Siren." Scott said.

Okay this is getting long and I'm kinda obsessed 🤩 I am very tempted to make this into its own story~ Tell me what you think and if I should start to create a second part.
