*vision is blurry*

???: *looks and rushes* Hey!...We have a survivor.

??? 2: *muffled voices* Your right, He's breathing.

???: HEY WE GOT SOMEONE!! Call an ambulance!

The vision was something hot and red. Blurry and silent forms were lying in the distance.

???: Hang in there buddy, an ambulance is on its way.

A groan came out. Sonic was hurt badly but strangely alive. He breathed heavily. He tried to get up but he got down and he was bleeding

???: Don't move, your hurt pretty badly. *to the second person 'a Lynx'* THOMAS CHECK IF ANYONE ELSE IS ALIVE!!

Thomas: CAN DO DEEP!! *runs*

Sonic heavily breathed before he passed out. Before he blacked out, he coulda sworn he heard the ambulance arrived.

Sonic consciousness came back as he groaned. Sonic sees a white light. No doubt he was in the hospital. He was hooked up to machines and feeling weak. He was breathing softly before he thought, "Oh God. What the hell happened?" He gasped as he recalled the whole scary memory.

The gang was on a mission to save Knuckles from Dr. Eggman. They kept fighting for their lives. But once Eggman was defeated, the twist of their life came through, turned out, Knuckles was working for G.U.N. along with Shadow (his new boyfriend). The two retreated and abandoned Sonic and the gang. Though Eggman wasn't gonna give up without a fight. The fight was brutal than before. But that's when things took a turn for the worst. Eggman pressed the self destruct button. But he didn't thought this through. The lair exploded as the gang tried to escape. Eggman was caught in the blaze. Though the gang laid there with burns and wounds. Sonic was the only one 'who woke up when the Event City swat team came'.

Sonic shook like a leaf. He felt like hell. Doctor Wedy J. Fox came in and said, "Mr. Hedgehog. Your awake. Thank the lord." Sonic looked at himself before he asked, "W-where am I doc?" Wedy replied to him, "Well your in the hospital of course. You suffered so much. You had a few infected wounds, 5 minor injuries, a twisted ankle, a bad blow to the head, a burn on your back, not to mention you have 5 awful burns on your arms and legs, your also blind by your left eye due to the scars on your eye, though you have a couple of broken ribs, and also your the top of your ear is cut 'clean' off. But it's a miracle that you survived that. No one has ever survived this unless their lucky." Sonic asked, "What about my friends? Are they...?" Dr. Wedy had a saddened look on her face and said as she shook her head, "I'm sorry. But they didn't stand a chance like you did." Sonics eyes widened before a tear escape his eye. Dr. Wedy asked, "Is there anything I can do?" Sonic sniffed and said, "Not at the moment." Dr. Wedy nodded before she walked off. That's when SWAT team Captain Deep the Jackle walked in and asked, "How are you holding up hero of Mobius?" Sonic closed his eyes and said, "Not good." Deep then said, "Listen I'm sorry about your friends. But there's nothing I can do." Sonic asked, "N-not one friend? Not even Tails?" Deep shook his head and said, "I'm afraid not. Consider yourself a sole survivor Sonic The Hedgehog." Sonic sighed deeply and whispered, "Yeah, a sole survivor..." Deep then asked, "There anything I can do?" Sonic sighed before he requested, "I-I need to call him... My brother, he's probably heard the news right now." Deep hesitated before he said, "Can do Sonic." Deep walked off. Leaving Sonic to grief. He was feeling guilty that his friends are dead. Tails, Amy, Big, Vector, Jet, Storm, Tangle, Blaze, Silver, Rouge, and even Mighty. He felt like crying.

<a few minutes later>

Sonic was in a sit up position as he sniffed. Before he can fall asleep, he heard footsteps. He turn to see Manic 'who was in a awfully brutal accident himself but survived a few weeks earlier but was extremely scared for his brother'. He rushed and said as he wrapped his arms around him, "Oh thank God. I was so worried. I thought I lost you." Sonic hugged back and said, "Big Brother, it hurts." Manic sighed deeply and said, "I know how you feel. It's okay Sonic, everything's going to be okay." But everything is not okay. Cause the boys are going to find out that everything isn't what they seem & the secret to their survival is not so obvious nor lucky.
