It had been a few months since living with Elijah and I loved it but today was just one of those days where I couldn't get up but I needed to Nora had something to tell me at work so I got out of bed Elijah wasn't there per usual because of 'work'
But at least it gonna be your first Christmas together

But you know what I didn't mind. I got out of bed and slide my way into the bathroom to wash my hands and brush my teeth. After that I was on my way too make breakfast when I heard something coming from Elijah's study now I'm nosy so I went to got take a peak .BIG.MISTAKE.

I looked in there and saw my mother? I don't know why she was here but she was.... I walked in too say hi "hi I didn't know you were gonna be in town!" as I said that Elijah is putting something away a paper and something else I don't know what the other thing was but oh well
I gave her a big hug I had Missed her I haven't seen her for weeks I mean it was kind of a necessity to hug her

"Where is Leon?" I asked my mother because if she was here that means that he was in Miami but who was he with maybe his girlfriend or at my aunts? " he's at your aunts. He wanted to stay there with your cousin." I nodded

"did you guys want breakfast cause I was going to make some. I won't be home until like eight probably I'm not sure actually I didn't get a time put on my shift so I don't know...I'll text when I'm on my way home though!" Both my mother and Elijah nodded " breakfast would be nice"

I walked down stairs and started on breakfast with my mom and we decided on eggs and breakfast tortillas for breakfast which I haven't had in quite some time but who was complaining not me " pasame las tortillas" (pass me the tortillas)

Handing my mom the tortillas I smiled "why are you smiling Hija?" (Daughter) I hummed
"no reason just missed your Spanish" I said chopping up the bacon for the tortillas. Putting the bacon in the tortilla was the easy part while my mom had the hard part which was the wrapping the tortillas I can't do that I don't know why but those tortillas hate me

"Elijah foods ready" I said it echoed through the house I think he heard me a little too well. After finishing up breakfast I went upstairs and changed into my usual outfit with my usual hairstyle a messy bun

I came downstairs and grabbed my bag off the couch and my water from the counter before leaving out the door I gave my mom a kiss on the cheek and a hug and kissing Elijah goodbye leaving them as I stepped out the door.

~Elijah's pov~

I can't believe it. I was gonna propose to her tomorrow or at least I hope so I needed to ask for her moms blessing first and that's why she was here now it was around 6:09 am perfect time since xo don't get up until 7:00 I was in my study talking to her mom " I had a question to ask you..?"

She tilted her head " yeah?" I exhaled nervous to ask " I wanted to ask for your blessing...?" Her eyes widened they practically almost fell out her head " OMGGG YESS YOU BEEN HAD IT" whisper shouting was hard for her I think
