I had just gotten from the store I took Nelani to the store I had got her some toys for my house and one to take home you can never have too many toys
Nora said she'll be there in an hour or so since she needed a break. It wasn't any rush though since I was having fun, then my phone rang it was a text from Elijah and a text from Nora

Elijah I'll probably be home after dinner. Is Nelani staying for dinner?

You No, but he's fine he's probably just in the store getting something and left his phone

👍 ----------------------------------------- Putting my phone down and starting on dinner while she sat on the couch playing on her tablet. After finally finishing up the lasagna I took it out of the oven and let it cool
"C'mon Nelani" She lifted her little head and looked at me "You made food! Is it good?" this little girl and her jokes "Of course it's good, come try some!" she got up and tottered her way to the kitchen

An hour passed Levi or Nora had come to get Nelani it wasn't a problem but it was starting to worry me I even called no answer "Honey I'm home!" Eli walked in and came into the kitchen "Hi Nelani!" She giggled "Hii LiLi" They exchange funny giggles
Nelani finished her food and went to go sit on the couch "Eli...can we go umm can we go drop off Nelani? It's getting late" he nodded "Yeah I'll grab her bag and stuff!" I picked up Nelani and put her in the car
<—-—-—-———-♡———--———-> Pulling up to their house and getting out of the car I made it to the front door bringing in her stuff before grabbing her out of the car I knocked on the door but it moved.
Pushing the door open there was no sign of her in the foyer or the living room " Nora? Levi?" That's when Elijah came in scaring me. I walked around the corner and saw a trail of blood "No, no, no, no, no!" there was positively no way this was happening
Maybe I was dreaming? " xo calm down sure it's just coffee" Elijah walked in front of me and that's when I made my way into the kitchen......the sight of Levi stabbed to death stepped back to go find Nora I ran upstairs and she was dead too strangled in her bedroom I fell to the ground sobbing
What have I done to the universe to make it so angry at me that I deserved all this may be for all those years of killing people...or maybe because I'm a bad person.
Nelani had no parents.. no mother...no father... all she had was me and Elijah Nora signed second rights over to me. How was I going to tell Nelani she had no parents?......she was too young for this! Too young
