There I was standing in front of the big dark door that led to Valide Sultans chamber. May God be on my side.

I took in a big breath , closing my eyes. I needed a minute to collect myself. I opened my eyes and then nodded my head at the door keeper. Walking in once the door opened.

There she was, looking like an angry lioness. Valide hatun in her beautiful deep blue gown. " everyone leave me alone with Haden. " and with that daye hatun and some other servants left the room leaving me alone with Valide Sultan.

" WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? ! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!? HOW DARE YOU! ? " she yelled out in anger coming closer to me. My eyes widened in fear and I immediately fell to my knees. "Valide Sultan pl-"  I began speaking my voice shaking, eyes already starting to gloss for the upcoming tears. " SHUT UP! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! " Valide screamed once more,now pacing around the room. " WHO GAVE YOU THE BRAVELY!? TO REFUSE TO SERVE THE SULTAN!? " she yelled coming closer to me, standing just inches from me. " please hear me out, please. Please try to understand " I finally managed to let out, but that somehow just added fuel to the fire. " SHUT UP! " Valide yelled out and turned from me, angrily going towards her seat and pacing around. At that I began crying , soft whimpers leaving my mouth. After a while of crying, I didn't even notice the pacing and yelling have stopped. But I felt the familiar hand on my head, my eyes immediately shot up to see that it's indeed the Valide Sultan. Her face turned away and eyes closed. " calm down, and tell me your reason. " she said softly even though I could tell she tried to do it without emotions. I did my best to collect myself and then began to speak. " Valide Sultan, I deeply respect you and your dynasty. And I will always be in the dynasties dept. I'm your and the dynasties slave and I don't dream of anything else. Valide Sultan I'm scared, I'm very scared. I don't want the Sultan to see me. " she turned her head towards me eyes both holding rage and pity in them. " I'm afraid to become a gözde, I'm afraid to giving birth, I'm afraid to watch my children die. I'm afraid to have to be forced to kill, I'm af-" I was stopped by a warm embrace. The valide Sultan hugged me shutting me up immediately. I then heard a sound... Valide Sultan was crying. And at that I joined her and hugged her back. We that day for the first time cried in each other's embrace.

Me and valide Sultan talked a lot after that and upon our talking I have told the sultana something I've wanted to for a while. I wanted to become a Muslim. The sultana was delighted and said she will prepare a big celebration for me tomorrow night, and she said we will do it then and that she will personally give me a name. This person giving me a name meant a lot to me, as I already saw her like a mother. While we were talking we heard knocking on the door. And with that I got up  and moved away from the valide to an appropriate length. A wide smile on both of our faces.
" come in " valide Sultan said, and in come daye hatun. Upon seeing our smiling faces it looked like a stone fell from her heart and she too had a more relaxed expression. " sultana, bas Kadin isn't feeling well a physician was sent to her chambers earlier. " and with that daye and valide went to mahidevran Sultan while I prepared the chamber a little.

The girls in the harem were happy that I was fine, and soon after we all found out that the Kadin was pregnant. Thank God may the child be happy.

Time skip

It's sad that my ceremony was moved to another day, but on the day it was supposed to happen hurrem hatun just had to lose her ring. God help that woman, and help us all as well. The ring was found with one of the concubines and the concubines was immediately kicked out. Poor Esme.

This day was rather eventful especially for hurrem hatun. She firstly lost her ring, then found it and then become Muslim. Mashallah, I suppose. But it's clear she didn't do it for the good, right reason. May God forgive her.

Today is the day that valide Sultan helps me become a Muslim and the day I get a new name. To say I was excited was little, I was - I don't even know how to describe it. Just as I was talking with Maria and Clara about my outfit for tonight we heard screaming and the sound of running footsteps. I didn't hesitate to immediately run towards the screaming, I could already figure out it was the bas kadin chembers. Upon my arrival pure shock and terror hit me. The bas Kadin is bleeding, she's loosing her baby. Gulsah tried to calm the kadin down while yelling for a physician. The Kadin was screaming in pain and crying, clutching her stomach. " she killed my child! May she rot! Allah please! Please save my child " my eyes teared at the sight and I just knew who she was talking about it. The physician come and tried to help the kadin, but eventually the physician shook her head, that meant the baby was dead. Everyone was devastated but I couldn't help and notice the color of the blood. The color of the blood is too light!
I immediately ran to the kadins side and pushed the physician away. " kadin please trust me I think we can save your child please trust me. " the hatuns looked at me like I have two heads but the bas kadin looked me tear stained eyes that had nothing but sadness in them. " kadin please for your child " she sobbed even louder but nodded her head. And with that I pushed her to lie. " get me a bucket with water now! " I ordered and the hatuns hurried to do what I said, I then turned to physician and told her what herbs to bring me and she nodded her head and went as well. " gulsah go behind the sultana, pull her hands up and back. " gulsah looked hesitant but still hurried to do so, the sultana immediately talking her hand.

40 minutes after.

" physician check now. " I said as I let out a deep breath,I was full of sweat. Feeling every bone in me hurt. The kadin stopped feeling pain about 10 minutes ago and was now staring with doe eyes at the physician, eyes full of hope. Everyone was on the edge, the sultanas that have arrived sometimes in the happenings as well. ( valide, hatice and there's gulfem)  the physician didn't look convinced at all, afraid of delivering the bad news again. She firstly checked the sultanas privates and then she jumped. With her we jumped as well, then she went to check the sultana stomach. And when the sultana reacted and unbelievable expression took over the physicians faces. " Sultanas please call in a second physician I need to confirm. "The hatuns ran like their life depended on it. Everyone even more on edge. Soon after the second physician come and after examining the two physicians looked at each other's big smile on their face. " mashallah the baby is alright! " and with that it's like  a bomb dropped in the room.
