*Chapter four*

*Hazel*

In the blink of an eye,
I found myself standing before a modest tent nestled amidst the depths of a dense forest. The location of this place eludes me entirely, yet there is an undeniable familiarity that emanates from this tent.
I find it rather perplexing how I managed to place my trust in this enigmatic individual, but against all odds, I did.

Without much contemplation, the stranger abruptly interrupts my thoughts, urging me to cease my idle gazing and Before stepping inside, he positioned himself in front of me, his voice oozing with confidence. "Listen up," he declared, his words dripping with self-assuredness. "I brought you here because I'm a kind-hearted individual, so I expect you to maintain your composure, alright?" With a smug grin, I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his audacity before striding past him and entering the room.
He laughed.

As I step inside, my eyes are immediately drawn to a colossal table positioned at the center of the room. Seated before it is a woman of an eerie disposition, engrossed in a game of cards. There is something about her that strikes a chord within me, and in an instant, my memory is rekindled. With a voice that resonates with recognition, she greets me,

"Hello, Hazel long time no see,"
My emotions surge forth, and I confront her with a mixture of anger and accusation, "You! you are the same woman from the christmas festival" I am unaware of how I have managed to draw myself so close to her, but her infuriating smile only serves to intensify my vexation.
Attempting to shield me from her influence, the stranger interjects, urging me to regain my composure,
"Hazel, please calm down. I implored you to maintain your composure."

"Leave me," I firmly declared, forcefully removing his hands.
My brows furrowed in disapproval as I observed the woman before me, her countenance adorned with a smile that seemed out of place.

"Who are you? And how did you come to possess knowledge of the impending fate that awaits me and my family?" I bellowed, my gaze piercing into her eyes, brimming with anger, only to find a vacant expression staring back at me. There was nothing but emptiness within her gaze, yet she couldn't help but smirk in response.

"You have changed quite significantly, Isn't her Ezlyn?" she remarked, her attention shifting to someone behind me, though I couldn't fathom how she could perceive his presence. "You can see him?" I inquired, turning to look at Ezlyn, who appeared utterly bewildered.

"Listen closely, my dear. I am not who you think I'm and about Ezlyn he is one of the souls that aids me in assisting individuals like yourself, al...., I mean Hazel," she hesitate, her words laced with a hint of ambiguity.

"Assist individuals like me? Huh! What on earth are you talking about? Assist us in what?" I exclaimed, feeling my sanity slip away.

"Hazel, please, remain calm..." Ezlyn interjected, only to be abruptly silenced by my vehement outburst.
