◆CHAPTER ELEVEN◆
♠︎HAZEL♠︎

"Why do you lie to me?" I inquired, my voice steady and resolute, as we crossed the threshold of our home. My father carelessly tossed the keys onto the floor, his eyes burning with anger as they locked onto mine. His frustration was palpable, but I remained composed, unyielding in my pursuit of the truth.

"You must tell me what the hell you where doing there, and now," he bellowed, his voice reverberating through the room. Undeterred,

"And I think I asked first, why do you lie to me?" I calmly reiterated my initial question, my demeanor cool and collected. Deep within, a whirlwind of thoughts swirled, remnants of the events that had transpired at Zariya.

My mother's gaze bore into me, her vice laced with exasperation.
"And I believe, Hazel, that you should remember you are addressing your parents," she admonished, her words punctuated by a sharp tone.
"We have not deceived you, Hazel. However, it is now imperative that you disclose your activities at that place right now?" Her plea echoed through the room, but I could not help but emit a disbelieving chuckle. Her expression contorted into a frown, perplexed by my reaction.

"The reasons behind my presence there is not important," A pause "The important is what I know," I calmly stated, my voice unwavering. It was not the way that held significance, but rather the knowledge I had acquired.
A strange calmness enveloped me, as if the events had never transpired. I struggled to comprehend the enigma that had taken hold of me. My father swallowed hard, his voice strained as hedemanded,

"What on earth are you talking about, Hazel?" I met his gaze, a serene smile gracing my lips.

"Tell me daddy, momy what you where doing with Hel?" I asked looking in there eyes, and stepping closer to them, they remained silent, so I laughed,

"How did you know about hel?" Mom asked, I looked at her,

"Seriously? This the only thing you care about how did I know her? Huh! I have known everything Momy," A pause

"I Have known about Zariya? Is it not my hometown?" I questioned, my voice resonating with a hint of authority. The room fell silent, their faces betraying a mix of hesitation and confusion.

"What are you saying? How much do you know?" my mother finally responded, her expression mirroring her uncertainty. I laughed,

"Do you really care to know momy, fine I'm going to tell you, he told me about your plans of killing me, he told me about my brother and how he was killed, he told me about hel's intention, the book of legends, and finally The prince of Zariya," I said smiling
I pressed further, the weight of the turth is hanging in the air. They remained silent, their silence confirming my suspicions.
