Bucky returned to the compound on Saturday morning, leaving just after an engaging breakfast with Paige and Noah.  Promising to return as soon as he could Bucky had two goals in mind; first to pick up some more clothing, secondly, he wanted to be there when the team held their final debriefing session after their return.  Even though Sam kept him up to date on the mission via their secure email there were things that could only be discussed in person.  Apparently, one of the issues involved him, although Sam didn't indicate that directly when he told Bucky about the debriefing.

When Bucky arrived, the team had just landed about fifteen minutes before and were in the process of unloading the quinjet, replacing weapons in the armoury, and quickly changing into clean casual clothes.  He helped with the armoury portion, knowing everything about every firearm in their possession and helped clean the weapons as the group worked on them together.

"So, how is Noah?" asked Sam.  "Is he out of the hospital?"

"Yesterday," replied Bucky.  "He wanted to go to a movie theatre, but Paige suggested a movie day at home.  She's taking him to the park today.  Mrs. Kavinsky said she'll babysit him tonight while we attend the charity event at the bar.  Paige will take a couple of turns behind the wood, try to get back into her working rhythm before she goes back to work on Monday."

"Listen to you using bar lingo," teased Joaquin.  "Is her friend Emily going to be there?"

"So far as I know," replied Bucky, noticing how the younger man seemed to be interested.  "I think she's coming by later this afternoon so they can decide which flaming drinks they're going to do.  You're welcome to come back with me if you want to meet her before the event."

"I might," smiled the young Falcon.

Kissing sounds were heard from Kate and Yelena, making the younger man blush, then Joaquin picked up a dirty rag and tossed it towards the two women, making them laugh.

"So, Bucky, how was the week alone with Paige?" asked Kate.  "Anything happen?"  He knew this was coming and just smiled, not saying anything.  She looked at Yelena with her eyes open wide before looking back at him.  "Does that mean nothing happened or that something happened, but you don't kiss and tell?"  He still said nothing, just focused on reassembling a handgun he finished cleaning.  "OMG, you totally did the nasty, didn't you!"  Still nothing came out of his mouth, but his cheeks did go a little pink.  "You're not even getting angry at me.  She's totally your bae."

"Before anyone else," said Sam and Joaquin, simultaneously when Bucky looked up for a translation.

"I am ... shipping her," he said after some thought, bringing grins from the others.  "But that's all you'll get out of me."

"Can we come tonight?" asked Kate.  "Please?  We're both legal to be in a bar."

"We'll behave," added Yelena.  "We want to support the cause."  She leaned towards Kate and whispered.  "What was the cause again?"
