For the first time since news broke Monday morning, Luke Hemmings has been seen outside the UCLA medical center. Our photographer captured the above photo as Hemmings headed to his car with a duffel bag. A good sign that he and his fiancée, Elodie Stewart, may be on their way home soon.

It was reported Monday morning that Stewart was involved in a hit and run late Sunday evening, and rushed to the hospital. Her condition as well as that of her unborn child have not been shared publicly. The sight of Hemmings, looking disheveled but calm, outside the medical center where his future family has been healing may be a good sign.

Hemmings and Stewart were first linked in 2022 when Stewart joined Hemmings band, 5 Seconds of Summer, as a guitar tech for their Take My Hand world tour. Their romance was made public that same year due to a legal battle they fought with one of Hemmings ex-girlfriends. The couple has been together since, and Hemmings proposed to Stewart last summer while they were in Berlin for the band's 5sos15 tour, celebrating the band's fifteen year together. Hemmings announced that his fiancée is expecting the couple's first child at the final show of the band's Homecoming Tour in April, a tour done adjacent to the world tour last year. A due date or gender for the child has not been shared. Requests for updates on both Stewart's and the baby's conditions since the incident on Sunday have gone unanswered.

"You got papped with your greasy hair and tired eyes." El chuckles, tossing her phone down the bed towards Luke as he comes out from showering.

"Shocker. My fiancée is in the hospital, the world doesn't know if my child is still alive, and I'm finally seen for two seconds." Luke rolls his eyes, glancing over the article quickly before tossing her phone back to her. "At least they didn't get any pictures of you while we left."

"Ya, I really do appreciate that part." El sighs, "Even now that you helped me shower and I've brushed through my hair, I still feel so awful. No one should see me like this."

"You're beautiful, El, and healing. Don't sell short what you've been through this week." He sits carefully beside her on their bed.

"Ya, but I can still not feel totally myself and be glad no one got pictures of me today." She sighs.

"Ya. Now, what can I get my girls? Lunch? Ice cream? A cold water bottle and some Tylenol?"

"I'd love you forever if you filled up my water bottle with ice cold water and brought me a packet of violet crumble bites." She grins.

"Pretty sure you're going to love me forever anyway, but I'm happy to do that for you. Our girl is a true Aussie when it comes to snacks and treats isn't she?" He chuckles, leaning over to press a kiss to El's stomach.
