I headed to dads with Sophie and opened his front door. I stepped inside, slipping my shoes off.

"Hello?"

"In the living room." The called out. So I headed to the living room, finding him on the couch.

"How's my favorite granddaughter?" He asked, holding his arms out. I laughed and handed her over to him.

"So... I have news." I said, sitting down in an armchair. I could tell he got nervous. He looked at me.

"What?"

"Umm—" Somehow, telling dad I asked Blaine to move in with me was worse than asking Blaine to. "Blaine's moving in with me."

"Oh?" I nodded. He just sat there for a little as I waited for a reaction.

"So?"

"So what?"

"What do you think?"

"You're an adult. You can do what you want."

"But what do you think about it?"

"Honestly?" I nodded. "I think it's kinda stupid. You haven't even been dating a year. What if you guys break up soon and he has to find another place really quick and has like no where to live until then."

"Well, you don't see that happening soon. He's basically been living with me already so I just made it official."

"Okay."

"Do you not believe me?"

"You asked what I think and I told you. Don't get all defensive."

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine." I sighed and leaned back. Maybe he was right. It's too soon to fully move in. I asked dad to watch Sophie so I could get things done around the house without having to worry about her. I needed to unpack a ton of my things but also Blaine's. We've been in the house a while but I've barely had time to unpack because of Sophie. I mean at night when she's asleep but I never wanted to wake her up. Blaine would also help when he wasn't working and I was doing things for Sophie. Now that dads taking her for the day, maybe I'll actually have time to finish.

I got to the house and Blaine pulled up with a car full of his things. I got out and walked over.

"Hey! How'd it go with your dad?"

"Well..."

"Uh oh."

"He just thinks we should have waited till we were more serious or something. Like we haven't dated a year and—"

"I mean, we've only got 2 months till we met."

"True."

"And we were pretty serious from the beginning. You told me all about Finn and Rachel and Sophie. You continued to call me to help you take care of her cause she wouldn't stop crying. Still think that was a tactic to hang out with me but I guess we'll never know." I laughed. "And if you ever wanna break up with me, I can figure something out so don't worry about me being homeless."

"I'm not planning on it."

"And I'm not planning on breaking up with you." He agreed. "So where's the problem now?"

"There is none."

"Good." He smiled and kissed me. "I love you!"

"Love you." I grabbed some boxes and headed inside.
