I had literally cried myself to sleep. That's the only way I'm able to sleep right now. That was until dad was shaking me awake. I jolted awake, looking at the doctor in front of us. It was time for news. I don't know if I'm ready for this. We were shown to another room and sat down.

"We successfully removed the bullet and repaired the damages from the gunshot wound. There weren't any complications. He's in his room right now so you can visit if you'd like. He's just waking up from anesthesia so he'll be groggy a while."

"He's okay?" I asked the doctor. He nodded. I smiled and looked at dad. He was also smiling and gave me a hug.

"Go see him." Dad said.

"Okay." He showed me to Blaine's room and I walked inside. He opened his eyes slightly, slowly looking over a little. I started crying again and walked over, grabbing his hand.

"Hi." He mumbled.

"Hi!" I smiled and kissed him. "You're okay..."

"I'm invincible. I can never leave you." He said, slowly. We both chuckled.

"You better be invincible." He continued smiling at me.

"I love you."

"I love you too." He was talking slow and quiet but he's awake. That's all that matters.

It took a few hours for Blaine to be fully normal from coming off the anesthesia. His parents still haven't gotten here but I updated them. They live in LA so they have an extra long flight. They practically have to fly all the way across the country. Plus the only flight they could get included a layover and didn't leave for a few hours after I told them.

I was alone in the room with Blaine. Dad headed back to the house to check on Sophie and stay with her overnight. I was planning on staying here. I couldn't leave. Plus, Blaine said he would want me to stay over his parents. He couldn't chose one parent to stay and they need to make themselves at home at our place since they're probably gonna stay to help Blaine recover. I still have work, sadly.

"You know why I was going to visit you at work?"

"Why?"

"Sophie's nightmare was that you got hurt so I was showing her you were okay." Blaine was holding in a laugh.

"This isn't funny."

"No, it's really not." I said.

"Just a coincidence."

"A very big one. She had no clue what was going on."

"That's good though."

"Yeah. I told her when you got home after work, we'd all hang out." He put his hand over mine.

"I'm okay." I looked up at him and realized I was still worrying. I don't know why. I think going on about Sophie and this whole thing was making me remember those scary feelings. "Maybe she's psychic." We both started laughing at him.

"You always know how to make me laugh. Even in bad situations." He smiled at me.

"Marry me." A nurse walked in right as he said that, backing out basically immediately. He chuckled at that but I was frozen.

"What?"

"Marry me. I have the ring and everything. I just can't wait one more moment to do this. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you more than I've loved anyone. So, please, marry me." I smiled and kissed him. Afterwards, I grabbed his face and pressed our foreheads together. "Is that a yes?"

"Yes!" He smiled and we kissed again. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

I never would have thought I would meet the love of my life because my 2 best friends died. That I would gain a fiancé because of that on bar visit. Life is crazy like that. The most unexpected things happen.

The end!
