I groan as I wake up, trying to adjust my eyes, blinking constantly. Looking around the room, "am I in the hospital?" I mumble, seeing Tara knocked out in the chair beside me. I reach my hand out, rubbing her knee. "Babe. Wake up" I whisper watching as she stirs awake. I watch her eyes flutter open, looking at me before she snaps awake. "You scared the shit out of me" she says before her face contorts into anger. "What the fuck were you doing? You could've fucking died. Are you dumb or something?" She asks, slapping my arm with each word. I clear my throat "I'm so sorry, Tara. I didn't mean to scare you. I was so set on getting to you to fix everything that I didn't care what happened to me." I rasped out. "You're so fucking dumb but I'm glad you're okay" Tara says, her face softening.

"Can I get some water?" I ask, looking around the room eyebrows furrowed. She nods, grabbing her water bottle and handing it to me. After I drank the water I asked "how long have I been here?". "3 days. You smacked your head pretty hard." She says, looking down playing with her hands. "Please don't do something like that again" she whispers looking up at me with glossy eyes, tears threatening to spill. That broke my heart to see. "I won't, I promise" I whisper, putting my hand softly on her cheek. "I love you" i say, sincerely. "I love you too" she whispers, looking into my eyes.

Time skip-

"Look, Y/n, what you did was extremely dangerous. You really need to be more careful." The doctor sighed. "But can I go home now?" I asked smiling, holding Tara's hand sweetly. "Yes, you can. But you need to rest so your body can heal properly. Don't overexert yourself." Doctor. Scott said knowingly, looking at me.

"Come on, let's get you home" Tara whispers, kissing my cheek. Tara and I walk side by side. "I don't miss using crutches" I mumble, eyebrows furrowed deeply. "Have you been home at all over the past couple days?" I ask, turning my head to look at her. "Yeah, I've gone home to see Aaliyah and Tupac. Can't have both their mums leave them" she says, laughing lightly.

"I'll drive" I say, putting my hand out for the keys, smiling. "No you won't. You're my passenger princess now, baby." Tara says, smacking my ass and opening the door for me. "Oh that's funny is it?" I ask, watching her giggle to herself while she gets into the drivers seat. "Yep, come on bAbyGiRl, let's get you home" she says, mocking me before laughing even harder. I grumble to myself, getting in the car.

"Finally home. I can't wait to get changed out of this gown." I say, getting out of the car as fast as I can. Walking into the house, hearing our dogs in the backyard going crazy. "I'm getting changed before I see them" I tell Tara before slowly making my way upstairs to our shared room. I get changed as quickly as I can, trying not to hurt myself more. I fall putting some sweatpants on. "I'm okay" I yell out before getting up and leaving the room. Making my way back downstairs. "Where's my babies??" I ask, limping towards the back door, watching the dogs go crazy. "I'm gonna open this door and y'all are gonna come in calmly and be gentle, okay?" I say, slowly unlocking the door and sliding it open. I don't even have a chance to move before I'm knocked down by two heavy ass dogs, licking all over my face. "Okay okay, that's enough" I say, pushing them away trying to sit up. "I missed you guys too but relax" laughing lightly as I pull myself up off the floor. Groaning as I drag myself over to the couch, flopping onto it. Turning my phone on, seeing the groupchat has been blowing up and everyone trying to check up on me. But one specific message has my attention.

Unknown Number: you have 1 new voice mail from 'Sperm Doner"

I play the voice mail reluctantly, not really wanting to hear what he has to say. "Hey kiddo, it's me... your dad. I was just calling to see if you wanted to catch up sometime? Call- or message me whenever you see this. I uh- I miss you."
