"I"m telling you! We'll only be in danger if we keep going like this!" A blonde boy shouts. "And anyway! Why should we have to go along with Komuro and these guys?" He continues. "Believe me leaving in that school would've been better." Sumiko mumbles. After a few seconds of silence he continues speaking, "You're the only ones who decided to go back to town! Shouldn't we have looked for a safe place in the dorms or in the school!?" Miss Marikawa steps on the breaks after seeing an accident ahead. A man in a black car drives by and starts yelling. "He's right... if we keep this up, we're just putting ourselves in danger. We should hole up somewhere." Some emo boy chimes in. "It's not too late! Plus I-" He gets cut off by Miss Marikawa, "That's enough! I can't drive like this!" She shouts, frustrated with these people.

"What's your problem? Why are you staring at me like that?" The blonde boy asks, referring to Takashi who was glaring at him. "So what do you want us to do?" Saeko asks. "Uh... I don't like him! I don't like this guy!" The blonde boy shouts pointing at Takashi. "He's acting like big shit!" He adds, Hirano grips his nail gun but Saya blocks him. "Where are you getting at? When did I even say anything to you?" Takashi asks. Sumiko who was getting frustrated with all this grabs her broomstick, walks over to the boy as he got two words in and slams the stick in his stomach hard. He hunches over vomiting, "You piece of shit. Your voice is giving me a headache." She growls, glaring at down at him and shocking everyone. "Sumiko..." "Sumi..." Takashi and Saya trail off standing up. "Takashi! Saya!" She beams with a close eyed smile before handing him his jacket. "Most impressive!" Shidou says clapping and Sumiko's scowl was back.

"Superb teamwork Komuro, Takagi!" He praises walking up to them. "But... if fights are breaking out like this, then it backs up my position. That's why we need a leader. One of us!" He adds leaning close to Sumiko who backs away. "I take it there's only one candidate for a job?" Saya asks. "I'm a teacher, Takagi everyone else is a student. That alone speaks volume to my merits." Shidou replies. "How about it everyone?" He asks, turning to face the students he rescued. "If you go with me... I will do whatever it takes to keep problems at bay, all right?" He adds, and the students start clapping so he takes a bow. "And there you go. Through a majority vote, I have become the leader. Starting now..." Not wanting to hear more Sumiko left the bus, and begins walking away.

"Sumiko!" "Sumi!" Takashi and Saya call out. Saya was about to get off the bus as well but Takashi stopped her. "Don't. I'll go get her." Takashi says getting off the bus. "No! I'm not staying on a bus with that guy!" Sumiko yells. "If she's saying she can't go along with the group, then... nothing we can do about it." Shidou concludes. "What are you saying, you...!?" Takashi glares at Shidou before going to grab Sumiko's arm. "Just until town! Put up with him until we get to town. It's dangerous out here!" Takashi tries persuading. "No! I told you you'd regret it!" She shouts glaring at him. "Either way for now...!?" He trails off seeing a bus coming towards them. "What is that bus doing!?" He asks. Takashi wraps his arms around Sumiko's waist, jumping out of the way as the bus crashes into a car and hurdles towards them. "This is..." "Komuro are you okay?" Saeko asks. "Let's meet up at the east police station!" Takashi tells her. "What time!?" She asks.

"Five! If not today then tomorrow at the same time!" He replies. "Nurse Marikawa! We can't go this way anymore." Saeko says getting back on the bus. "Okay! I'm going to go back and find a different route." Miss Marikawa replies, turning the bus around. As she drove away Saya looks out the window worried for her sister. "Hurry! Sumiko!" Takashi shouts pulling the girl with him until a walker wearing a bike helmet grabs him pushing him down. "Takashi!" Sumiko yells, looking around for anything that could help. She finds a loose slab of the sidewalk, she picks it up, though it was heavy and slams it on the back of the walker's head killing it. Sumiko throws the slab to the side and offers Takashi her hand with a smile. Once he was up she wraps his arm around her neck supporting him.  "We're walking to town?" Sumiko asks. "Seems like there's no other way... Hang on." Takashi says, catching Sumiko's attention.

"That guy had a helmet on..." They look around and spot a bike. Takashi picks up the bike with a smile. "Since when did you have your license?" Sumiko asks, holding the bat watching her boyfriend board the bike. "Driving without a license... is a high school student's special right." Takashi comments. Sumiko laughs getting on the bike and wrapping her arms around Takashi's waist.
