Takashi and Sumiko rode for a while before stopping by a car upon seeing utter chaos in front of them. Fire everywhere and some guys attacking the walkers. "What a mess. It's like a war..." Takashi says, looking at the scene before him. "It's most likely worse than a war." Sumiko adds, watching the scene as well. "Waiting here won't be any good. Let's go!" He says. "Hey!" A man yells, drawing attention to the couple. "Uh..." Sumiko looks at the men who ran at them. "Hold on!" Takashi commands. Sumiko wraps her arms around Takashi tightly and he rode away just in time to dodge a gunshot. "Why!? We're not like 'them'." Sumiko says not understanding. "The blood's gone to their heads, making them crazy. Just like us." Takashi explains. "Just like us..." Sumiko repeats quietly. As they got closer to the bridge Takashi suddenly turns onto another road. "Why'd you stop? Tokonosu bridge is just a..." Sumiko trails off, seeing what's happening on said bridge.

The bridge was filled with traffic and people trying to get away from 'them'. "At this rate there's no telling when we can cross." Takashi says. "Yeah." Sumiko agrees. "Come on, let's pass on the castle's side and head towards Onbetsu bridge." Takashi instructs. "The route Shizuka and the rest are taking connects to there, and it's just as crowded. We should be able to meet up with them again before we cross the bridge." He explains. "What about Shidou?" Sumiko asks. "We've got this, remember?" Takashi moves his jacket aside to show the gun. "If worse comes to worst, we'll send him packing!" Takashi tells her. Sumiko smiles at him wrapping her arms around him, "You know, you were so hot back at the gas station." She mumbles, laying her head on his back, Takashi smiled down at her. Unbeknownst to the two back on the bus an argument ensued between Shidou and the other resulting in everyone finding out what Shidou did to Sumiko and so they all left after Hirano threatened him.

"It's probably no good. They're making it so we can't get across. Otherwise there'd be no point to this lock-down." Takashi says, causing Sumiko to sigh and look back. "They don't mean to let anyone across at all." Sumiko mumbles, looking down disappointed. Something catches her eye causing Sumiko to look in it's direction. "Takashi look! Over there!" She shouts, pointing in the direction of her sister and the rest making their way to them. Sumiko hurriedly gets off the bike running to the group engulfing her sister in a tight hug. "Saya, I've missed you. I'm never doing anything like that again!" She cries, holding her sister close. "You better not." Saya warns, rubbing her head. "Takagi and Komuro!" Miss Marikawa calls out watching them. Saeko smiles at Takashi approaching him. "I'm happy to see you're okay, Komuro." Saeko greets. "Same to you Busujima." He greets back. "Forgetting someone?" Saya asks, glaring at Takashi. "G-glad to see you're well, Takagi. You too Hirano, Rei." He greets them sweat-dropping.

"We haven't been able to find a way across." Saeko speaks, looking at the bridge. "Ditto." Takashi replies crossing his arms. "What about farther up?" Saya suggests. "This area's got shoreline protection installation so we can't cross, but maybe that's not the case upstream." Sumiko adds. "Remember there was this kid back in elementary school who was fooling around and got carried off by the current?" Saya asks. "Yeah...but I wonder. With all the recent rainfall, the river's risen..." Takashi adds. "Excuse me?" Miss Marikawa chimes in, drawing attention to her. "I think it'd be better if we rested for today." She continues. "R-rested?" Hirano asks. "It's going to be dark within the hour. And when it gets dark... If we run into any of 'them' even Busujima will have trouble see?" She adds, showing her watch. "True but where will we go to kill time?" Sumiko asks. "We could raid the castle." Saeko suggests. "Kuh! We wouldn't be able to protect it with so few of us." Takashi says, smiling at her.

Sumiko and Rei frowns, the pink-haired girl lightly brushes her hand against Takashi's gaining his attention. "Um, excuse me, but I have a place we can use. It's walking distance from here." Miss Marikawa explains. "Your man's pad?" Saya teases. "N-no! It's the home of a female friend of mine. She's got so much work, she's always flying from one place to another, so she left me her key to air out her home every once in a while." The nurse clarifies embarrassed. "Is it a condo? Can you get a good view of the area from it?" Hirano asks. "Uh, sure. It's on the river front, and it's maisonette with a convenience store right next door. A-also she left me her car. It's built like a tank." Miss Marikawa explains, waving her arms around to show how big the car was.  "We'll need transportation either way." Saeko adds. "Today has me dead tired. I wanna shower while there's still power." Saya says combing a hand though her hair. "G-good idea." Hirano says with a pervy look earning a pick from Saya.

"You pervert!" She shouts. "Miss Shizuka, hop on the back!" Takashi calls from the motorbike. "Oh, right." The nurse climbs on behind him. "I'm going with the nurse to check it out. Um Busujima you take it from here." Takashi tells the purple-haired girl. "Okay." She replies. "Be careful!" Sumiko tells them. The group follows after the bike. "You didn't tell me about what Shidou did." Saya starts, looking at her sister. Sumiko looks down, "I'm sorry I should've told someone." She mumbles. "We won't be seeing him anymore so don't worry about it. Plus Hirano threatened him so we're alright." Saya tells her, Sumiko nods staying silent. "Over there!" Saeko calls out, spotting Takashi and Miss Marikawa. As they got closer they see the car the nurse was talking about, leaving everyone shocked.

"Wow, what kind of friend does she have?" Sumiko asks. "'They' probably couldn't make it over this fence, so we should be able to sleep with peace of mind." Rei says, inspecting the fence."Takagi, do you have anything we could use?" Rei asks the older twin. "We have a gun, but we're not sure how good we are." Takashi reveals. "Huh? A gun?" Hirano asks shocked. "I'll let you play with it later. But for now..." Takashi trails off hearing 'them'. They look over seeing 'them' behind the fence. "Komuro! Are we going to be okay like this?" Saya asks worriedly. "Yeah, this is perfect. Stay back." He tells her. "Don't forget to cover each other's backs." Saeko reminds. Takashi opens the gate and the group rushes in with Saeko, Rei, Takashi and Sumiko smashing the heads of the walkers they see, until they get inside Miss Marikawa's friend's house.
