The Day It All Came To An End (On Hold)

~Act Eight~

Some time during the morning Alice woke up and was taken by Hirano and Saya to enjoy the morning air on top of the car while Miss Shizuka drove across the river. Takashi fell asleep with Sumiko still between his legs, Rei leaning on him and Saeko laying on his lap. "Everyone, wake up! We're almost to the other side!" Miss Shizuka calls out. Rei wakes up seeing Takashi and smiling but then frowns seeing Sumiko and Saeko. Rei pinches Takashi's cheek causing him to yelp waking up Sumiko in the process. "What the... What is it?" Takashi asks. "Don't you look comfortable." Rei snickers. Takashi looks down noticing a drooling Saeko on his lap. Sumiko looks down at the girl rubbing away the sleep away from her eyes. "What do you..." Saeko asks in a daze. "Ah! Saeko um..." Takashi stutters blushing. 

"You're drooling." Rei snickers hugging Takashi's arm. Saeko blushes wiping her face, Sumiko glares at Rei who smirks at her. "Let's get off." Takashi tells them. "Why?" Rei asks. "We still have to climb over the embankment." Sumiko points out. Takashi's eyes scan over his  girlfriend. "Well maybe you should get dressed first." He tells them. Sumiko nods and stretches, "Yeah." The girls get off the car and look at the clothes they brought. Sumiko looks over at the boys seeing them struggle with Alice so she goes to lend a hand. "I'll take her." Sumiko announces taking her from Hirano and going over to the others. Sumiko digs through the clothes and finds Alice's panties and puts them on her before finding something to wear. 

Once she finds what she wants she removes her shirt and puts on her bra putting on a tight-fitting white blouse, her sweater, her uniform's skirt, her white thigh-high socks with garter belts, finger-less gloves, and black high heeled combat boots she ties her ribbons on either sides of her head and also grabs combat webs and attaches a M416 equipped with a 3x scope to it. They step out from behind the car shocking Takashi, Hirano comes over and is shocked as well. Takashi lets out a nervous chuckle and Hirano lets out a perverted one and Zeke barks. "Problem?" Rei asks holding the gun under her chest. "No, it suits you but... can you really fire that thing?" Takashi asks. "Hirano can teach me. In a worse case scenario, I'll just use it as a spear." Rei tells him. "Ah! You can do that! You can definitely do that! It's equipped with a military-issue bayonet. A bayonet!" Hirano explains. 

After the conversation the boys and Zeke went on the hill to look out for any of 'them' while Miss Shizuka drove the car up the hill almost running over Hirano in the process. Once the Humvee was up everyone climbed the hill. "Looks like they weren't able to isolate it with the river." Saya observes surveying the area with the binoculars. "The news said it's like this all over the world." Saeko points out. "If there are still police, I'm sure..." Rei trails off. "You're right. Japan's police are devoted to their jobs." Sumiko says sarcastically with a smile. "Yeah... right." Rei replies. "What do we do now?" Miss Shizuka asks leaning out the window of the car. "Sumiko, your house is in area two in the east hills, right?" Takashi asks. "Yeah." Saya answers seeing as her sister was busy petting Zeke with Alice. "Then it's the closest, so we'll go to your place first. But listen..."  He trails off going silent, looking over at Sumiko. "I know. I won't hold my breath. But... Of course!" Saya agrees. "Okay then, let's go!" Takashi announces.

When everyone was ready they boarded the car. Sumiko, Takashi and Rei decided to sit on the roof. "Hey, Takashi, Sumiko! Have you noticed?" Rei asks turning to them. "Yup!" Sumiko replies leaving Takashi confused. "What?" He asks looks at them both. "We..." Rei starts. "Haven't come across any of 'them' since last night." Sumiko finishes smiling at him. Takashi gasps realizing that. The trio stay silent with Sumiko leaning back with her eyes closed enjoying the wind through her hair she places her hand on Takashi's smiling.
