It's been a day since the group arrived at the Takagi Estate and Sumiko had yet to leave her room after having been told she needed to rest. The sound of her sister yelling woke her up so she decided it was finally time to get out. She got up, put on a long-sleeved white blouse, a knee-length purple skirt with a black trim and a clean pair of white thigh-high socks and platform mary janes. She left her room and walked down the hall putting her hair up in a ponytail when she approached the staircase she saw Takashi trying to help some men who turn down his offer. "Assholes." She sighs descending the stairs to Takashi causing him to turn to her. "Oh hey Sumiko, is your back okay?" Takashi asks looking over at her. "It's fine, I'm not in pain anymore." She replies crossing her arms under her chest. They stand in silence for a while. "What's wrong?" She asks tilting her head to the side, Takashi blushes and looks away. "Nothing..." He replies. "Doesn't look like nothing but okay." Sumiko says laughing a little.

Takashi joins in and they laugh until the sounds of footsteps could be heard. "Huh? What is it? What's up?" Alice asks with Zeke beside her. "Did something good happen, Takashi?" She continues asking. "We were just saying how glad we are that you're okay, Alice." Sumiko replies giving her a pat on the head. "Yeah, Alice is fine." The child adds. "Alice is fine." Sumiko mimics with a fond smile. "Saya, Kohta!" Alice calls out seeing them. "Komuro." Saya sings peaking through the door with Hirano behind her breathing heavily. "Saya, what have you been up to?" Sumiko asks. "Sumi, aren't you supposed to be in bed?" Saya asks her sister. "I'm fine, I'm not in any more pain." Sumiko explains. "Anyways, I think there's something we all should discuss." Saya shares crossing her arms. "Can Alice come too, Kouta?" Alice asks. "Of course, you and Zeke are part of our team." Hirano agrees giving her a thumbs up.

...

Everyone gathered in the room where an embarrassed Rei laid. "You can't move on your own yet, so we've got no choice." Takashi tells Rei. "So what did you want to talk about?" Miss Shizuka asks peeling a banana. "About whether or not we're still on the same side here." Saya says causing the older woman to nearly choke. "On the same side...?" Rei asks. "Sure we are. We just merged with an even larger and more stable group. So..." Saeko trails off. "That right, we have two options! Go with them or..." "We split up." Takashi finishes Saya's sentence. "You're being unreasonable here. Why should we split up?" Sumiko asks crossing her arms. "Unreasonable? If you want to stay here with mom and dad then you're fine to do so, but I'm not gonna. Just look around! If that's not enough for you to get then you have no right to call me by my first name." Saya states opening the door and walking to the balcony with Sumiko, Takashi, Hirano and Miss Shizuka following her. "The town..." Takashi trails off handing Hirano the binoculars. The boy the looks through seeing many undead, survivors and police officers.

"It's gotten worse." Hirano points out whiles Rei watches from inside pushing Alice away a little. "Your old man's got skills. It's something only a right-wing V.I.P. could pull off. Your mom too. Same goes for now. They were able to do all this in one day." Takashi compliments. "Yeah, she's amazing! I used to be proud of that." Saya states. "What do you mean used to?" Sumiko asks. "If they can do that then..." Saya trails off as tears form in her eyes. "Takagi..." Takashi sighs. "Call me by my first name!" The older twin shouts. "Just call her by her first name." Sumiko tells the boy. "Don't think badly of your parents. It's not the time for it. We're all having it rough right now." Takashi warns and Sumiko sigh leaning on the railing. "You sound just like my mom!" Saya shouts at him. "I know! I know that my parents are amazing! They moment they knew something was amiss, they took action and protected their property, their workers, and all their families! Incredible! Just incredible! They truly are awesome." Saya rants looking down. "It's not like they forgot their little girls! She clearly has a priority!" Saya shouts. "That's..." Takashi trails off and Sumiko looks down.

"It's so like them! They really are something our parents, right Sumi?" Saya asks her twin aggravating Takashi. "To think they instantly gave up on us since they figured there's no way we'd survive— Ha!" Saya gasps when Takashi grabs her by the collar lifting her off the ground. "Stop it! Saya!" He yells and everyone looks at him shocked. "Takashi!" Sumiko gasps walking over to them but a glare from Takashi stops her in her tracks. "Ah... Why now...? But finally..." Says stutters out holding Takashi's wrists. "You're not the only one! We're all the same!" Takashi shouts shaking the girl. "We're all going through the same thing. But not even. You're the only ones better off since your parents are safe." Takashi tells her still shaking the girl causing her glasses to fall off and Rei holds Alice close to prevent her from seeing what was happening. "I got it. I got it, so let go." Saya tells Takashi who releases her. "Sorry." He apologizes backing away. "Yeah, you're right. But that doesn't matter right now." She says picking up her glasses. "We have to settle this." She adds, just the sound the trucks and motorcycles could be heard.

"What is that?" Hirano asks. "That's right. It's the leader of prefecture's nationalist right-wing group! The man who decides on his own what's right and what wrong!" Saya starts looking at Sumiko. "Our father." The twins say in unison watching their father step out the car walking to their mother who smiles why men bowed at him.
