The reason for our country's downfall is the citizens themselves. People ignore everything good happening, and manipulate the weaker sections of society. They ignore all the statistics, history and logic behind the actions that are being taken and only care about themselves. There is also a part of society, which says that "Don't do this, it's a waste of money. Feed poor people instead.", but that's pure bullshit to me. I mean, even when your country is developing you dare to speak shit about it, you yourself don't want it to annex. Tell me, how many people do you feed in a day? Tell me, how much time do you spend trying to 'change your country for the better'? None.
These same people were criticising ISCKON for deciding to make a temple in Vrindavan, which will be the biggest and tallest temple. Now, first of all I am not a follower of ISCKON but who the fuck do you think you are, to tell a 'private' organisation to do charity. It's not their job to help the poor. They earnt the money, and they want to build a temple now. It's completely their choice and right to do so, how can someone even have the audacity to say something so ridiculous.
In this country and overall in the world, hindu-phobia has started becoming scary now. It's like, you don't have the right to be a hindu, it's like a crime. You can't follow your religion or else you're an 'Andhbakht', and this is so fucking ridiculous to me.
The worst thing is that the educated section of the society has this mindset. I mean, I was just watching a video about Chandrayan 3 which will take off on the 14th of July 2023 to land on the moon which is amazing and such an important mission for our country but then I opened the comment section, and the first thing that flashed was, 'What's the benefit of this? We still have poor children living on the roads.', and some other bullshit was also written.
The ridiculous part is that the one who commented this was a freelance journalist who wrote articles for renowned brands of newspapers. I can only imagine how biased her articles would be.
She probably doesn't even know that the mobile phone she's using which is working on the internet is basically functioning because of the government funding space missions. It's called 'satellite broadcasting' about which you're taught in like 3rd or 4th standard. That illiterate-literate person didn't know about something so basic? It's scary how society has become nowadays.
The government is already taking measures for the poor people, like the ayushman card yojna and the free rashan it gives twice a month to the people who come below the poverty line but she probably isn't educated about that because that's a good aspect of the government and she is just a 'toxic so called woke person' who just wants to hate on their country annexing and getting successful.
Even though I criticise the government and  I have many complaints but even after all of them I can't ignore all the good things it has done and continues to do. Our country has become the 5th largest economy, it has become the 2nd largest highway in the world after America and our road minister claims that he'll make it the 1st largest if he gets a time of 5 more years. We play such a huge role in world politics now and we don't have to bow down in front of any country.

But people still would ignore all this and hate their own country because that is the definition of 'cool' according to them.
