In Lumiose City
Repairs had been completed on the tower and on most of the buildings around it. The Gym Leader has returned to his post at the gym and has begun sorting out the inside. The league is expected to return to normal in around two years, the damage done to all of Kalos will still be seen, but repaired enough for the league to resume safely.

An emergency has been called in the gym- someone has pressed the button to urgently talk to the Gym Leader.
He opens the door, and there it is. A Greninja, holding a Zygarde's cell.
"Ash's Greninja? And Squishy?" Clemont asks.
They nod.
"Weren't you two meant to be in hiding?"
Another nod, but Greninja has something to say.
"Gre, gre, greninja."
"Oh, uh i'm sorry Greninja, I don't understand, uh, and my Pokémon translator was broken by the.. you know, the..."
"Gre."
"Uh, uhmm is something wrong?"
Greninja nods.
"Oh, uh, what is it?"
"The bond has been changed."
"What? Who uh, was that?"
"The ones you humans call Squishy. He says his bond with Ash was altered, something happened to him whether good or bad."
"Oh. Oh.. Oh!!! This is not good, maybe we should, text him? I think he got a phone after the thing happened and maybe Bonnie texts him?? I have to ask, you guys wanna, uh, come with?"
Greninja nods whilst still holding Squishy and Clemont sighs in relief.
He deactivates the emergency system and locks up, heading towards the now gigantic Pokémon Centre, where most people in Lumiose now live because of the housing damages that occurred. Running up to his and Bonnie's room out of breath with Greninja trailing after him, he calls out.
"Bonnie!"
The young girl opens the door to see her brother out of breath and on the brink of collapsing.
"Oh, Big Brother! What you need?"
"Ah.. Bonnie.. It's.. Urgent..."
Greninja and Squishy pop up behind him.
"Oh hi Squishy! Hi Greninja! What's happened?"
"Well," he pants, "I think something happened to Ash, Greninja came to say that..."
"Oh, really? I'll text him."
"So he does have a phone.."
